Editorial Reviews

Get the answers you need. Order this new, half-hour documentary to learn from Tim Lovett, Dr. John Whitcomb, and apologist Ken Ham. In the ground-breaking classic book The Genesis Flood, Drs. Henry Morris and John Whitcomb introduced the world to the logical reality of the massive wooden ship that saved humanity, bringing it to life from the pages of Scripture. As we learn more about ancient shipbuilding we must ask the question, "When Noah constructed the Ark, woudn't he have used the technology of his day. Could he follow the Lord's directions and actually build a ship able to withstand the cataclysmic tempest?" Following the example of Drs. Henry Morris and John Whitcomb's ground-breaking book, The Genesis Flood, Ark researcher Tim Lovett applies new findings to the contours and interior design of the Ark, while maintaining an unwavering commitment to the Word of God. This ground-breaking DVD about the Ark is one of the highest quality DVDs we've ever produced! You'll see animations, interviews, and images of the Ark that explain the most perplexing of questions. Look inside the ship that saved humanity. Rest in the authority and inerrancy of God's Word as the Ark and its reality is affirmed from the pages of Scripture and the most recent of research. DVD bonus features: * Answers magazine video (2 min.) * Demolishing Strongholds Study Series video (1 min.) * Answers Academy Curriculum video (9 min.)

5.0 out of 5 stars Thinking Outside Two Kinds of Boxes, February 17, 2010

This review is from: Noah's Ark: Thinking Outside the Box (DVD)
When Tim Lovett tells his viewers to "think outside the box," he actually means to think beyond the concept of Noah's Ark, dating back to Elfred Lee and arguably to Athansius Kircher, of a simple box-shaped barge. But Lovett's work encourages us to think outside another kind of box: the idea that the Flood story was a myth. Early in this video he demolishes the children's-book concept of the Ark as a claw-footed bathtub with a pilothouse on top--a concept born of an era when men took the Bible less than seriously. Then he shares his research, and shows that ancient (post-Flood) ships must have copied certain key features that were actually necessary to make the Ark seaworthy. (He also shows that the proportions of the Ark struck the best balance among the three considerations of strength, stability and sea-kindliness.) This is a must-have product for anyone wishing to understand the most critical project in the history of naval architecture.

4.0 out of 5 stars Noah's Ark DVD leaves you wanting more info, August 3, 2011

I found the DVD very interesting/intriguing, but in many respects superficial and I wished it went deeper into several of the concepts discussed. I'd like to visit their physical location.
