Abrams has compiled the authoritative reference resource for information on the Nobel Peace Prize. This handsome volume contains biographies of the 87 famous and not-so-famous individuals who have been recipients of the prize from 1901 to 1987, and also discusses each prize period separately, providing an overview of the social, political, and historical decision-making environment that influenced the selection choice.
