Loved the pictures and explanations of all the family members and their dogs. Very interesting book. I enjoyed finding out about the varioues nobility and how they saw dogs, how important dogs were to some of them. Loved the beautiful pics too.

Can't believe I didn't review that one already.

I bought it as a present for an Englishman and can very much recommend it. Being obsessed with the World Wars finding Presents for British can be tedious. This is the answer.

It's sweet. It's GREAT, offering rare insights into the super-privat world of the Royal Family. It shows that far from being snobbish, the had dogs of all sizes and breeds and mixes. One was a present from the streets of Turkey. - Well, it's one of these books that doglovers will cherish.

I have long been an admirer of the British Monarchy, for over. I remember skipping school to watch Princess Anne get married. (The first time in the early 70s)

I've known they were animal lovers but this book just shows you how much they cared for their furry friends. I am a dog lover to the max, and this book was just so fascinating.
