5.0 out of 5 stars A revealing and joyful scuba dive into authentic purpose..., April 28, 2005
This review is from: Noble Purpose: Igniting Extraordinary Passion for Life and Work (Hardcover)
Longing to know what it is, really, that gives you the greatest sense of fulfillment in your work or relationships? Forget any inventory or self-help approaches you may have tried in the past. In Noble Purpose, author and long time organizational consultant Barry Heermann describes what it feels like to operate out of one's unique and authentic purpose and sheds new light on why we tend to lose sight of it. More importantly, he provides an entirely different way of reconnecting with that felt sense of purpose so that recognizing its presence or absence becomes second nature. Prepare for a revealing and joyful scuba dive into the realm and heart and soul where authentic purpose truly and always resides.

The Noble Purpose book is truly an experiential read. There are many books written today about "purpose" but few actually provide tools with which one may practice sensing that purpose. This book is full of real life examples to clarify simple, yet powerfully life-affirming concepts. The activities that accompany each chapter enable the reader to actually experience their purpose in many artistic and thoughtful ways. I recommend this book to anyone who is truly committed to investigating their own purpose in a meaningful way.

5.0 out of 5 stars Making dreams come true, February 13, 2005

This review is from: Noble Purpose: Igniting Extraordinary Passion for Life and Work (Hardcover)
For several years, I have had a strong sense of what my personal calling is, and a real feeling that I have a Noble Purpose in this lifetime. But I have been frustrated with not fulfilling that sense of purpose as much as I think I can. After reading Noble Purpose and doing the daily exercises, and really LIVING with each of the elements of the Noble Purpose Spiral, I found myself energized and focused. I was able to get two book proposals accepted by two major publishers just months after completing the Noble Purpose teleworkshop. I now recommend this book to everyone!
