Review

"All of the characters sparkle, and NOBODY'S PERFECT is fun, fresh, and a PERFECT story for a lovely spring day!" -- Diana Risso, Romance Reviews Today (see full review at romrevtoday.com/Author%20Pages/Ardito,%20Gina/Nobodys%20Perfect.htm)  --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

About the Author

Gina Ardito, a native of Long Island, New York, has always believed the two most important qualities in life are love and laughter, so it's only natural she'd combine the two in her written works. When not writing, she loves and laughs with her husband, Philip; their two children, Tori and Nick; a bionic dog; and one cat with a foot fetish and another affectionately known as The Skitten.
Nobody's Perfect is Gina's fifth book for AVALON and the final installment in her Nobody Romance Series. 'Nobody's Darling', 'Nobody's Business', 'A Run for the Money', and 'The Bonds of Matri-money' are also available.

More About the Author

I kill houseplants. There. Now you know one of my greatest shames. I'm not boasting. I just figure that if you're reading this, you're looking for more than how wonderful life is as a writer. You get enough of that elsewhere. Ditto for political rants, how to lose thirty pounds in a week, and creating gorgeous crafts with nothing more than twine and soup cans. My goal is to connect with you, dear reader, even if you're not a writer, not a New Yorker, not a mother, not a female. We're human (unless one of us is a spambot), and what we have in common is flaws. So here are a few more of mine:

I sing all the time (except at work where my boss had to sit me down and give me a talking to about how I distracted my coworkers.) I sing songs most people don't know--jingles from television, crazy stuff I used to listen to on Dr. Demento, Broadway and movie soundtracks, and I can even bum-bum-bum through instrumental music. I sing in the car. In the shower. While I'm grocery shopping. And I headbop while I sing. When I'm not singing, I talk to myself. Just ignore me and move on. You get used to it after a while.

I don't eat my vegetables. Seriously. I only started eating salad about ten years ago, but I'd still rather have a cookie.

Given the option, I would live in a mall where I would never have to worry about freezing temperatures or too much sun. I'm extremely fair-skinned and could burn under a 60-watt light bulb.

I can't sleep without background noise so the television's on all night. If it's too dark and too quiet, all I have are my thoughts. And even *I* don't want to be alone with my thoughts.

Don't ask me to Zumba, line dance, or march in the parade. I have absolutely no rhythm.

I color outside the lines. Not because I'm a rebel, but because I suck as an artist. My artistic ability is limited to being able to draw Snoopy sleeping on his doghouse. And I don't even draw that well.

Regrets. I have more than a few.

My favorite activity is sleep, and I'm pretty good at it. I don't clock a lot of hours, but I can powernap like a Persian cat and rejuvenate within ten minutes.

I consider shopping and dining out excellent therapy for anything wrong in my life.

My feet are always cold. Always. My husband of more than a quarter century claims it's because I'm an alien sent to Earth to destroy him. (He might be right about that.)

Coming to my house for a visit? Unless you've given me plenty of advance notice, be prepared. My floor will not be vacuumed, there will be dishes in my sink, and I only make my bed when I change the sheets once a week (I'm climbing back into it ASAP. Why make it?) Housecleaning is not high on my priority list. Okay, to be totally honest, it's not on the list at all.

I can resist anything...except ice cream.

Since this is our first date, I figure I've revealed enough secrets for now. But if you've read this bio and think I might be the author for you, pick up one of my books or stalk my website: www.ginaardito.com and my personal blog: http://ginaardito.blogspot.com.

Awesome, simply awesome. This book made my heart smile. It was an easy read and a great "ending" to the nobody romances; however, I wouldn't mind it if there were more books in the series!

Such a fun read. I love books with happy endings and strong female characters who land on their feet. I did not realize that this was the third book in the trilogy, now I cannot wait to read the other two.

It's hard to say which book in this series I liked better because they all offer a great story filled with all the right stuff. Summer Raine Jackson got more than she bargained for when she found out her husband was cheating on her. And while she might have suspected it, she never expected it to be broadcasted on national radio. And now the whole world knows.

Trying to figure out what she wants to do with her life, she knows she needs a job to support herself. As such, she takes a temporary job at her sister's parenting service. She's not happy about her first assignment though. Especially when she learns it's caring for Craig Hartmann's children, the DJ who told the world her plight. But it doesn't take her long to see that she can fill the void these children are missing in their lives. Taking this job would be a means to an end for her future goal of being a wedding planner. Of course, stepping into the mother role isn't easy when bad habits are already ingrained, but she manages to turn their lives around and the unruly kids start marching to her drum. But don't let me delude you into thinking this story is all roses without its problems. There's a nice mix of conflict and tension that will have you rooting all the way to the end. Does it have a happily ever after? Of course, but which one does she choose? I'd tell you, but then I'd be letting the cat out of the bag. Get the book--you'll love it!

Love the story line, Kind of predictable. Characters are real and believable and but there were holes in the story where you weren't sure how all was pulled off.

This book is different from the others in that the romance gradually builds without an extension or rush. The outline of the relationship blossoming between Summer and Craig Hartmann is really great, supporting the books title. It shows how a seemingly perfect situation is not so perfect after all. It was also nice that the protagonists from the other books in the series received highlights as well to piece together a great family-esque series. Accolades to the author! I enjoyed it and you will too if you like romance novels!

This is an OK read. The beginning of the story opens with a bang.... and then calms down and becomes predictable. I didn't quite buy Chelsea's character or that the threat was real of Chelsea taking the kids away from Craig. Who would award custody to a woman who ran out on her marriage, abandoned her kids, moved out of the country and only saw the kids when it was convenient to her and her new husband, which was almost never. Given the life Chelsea preferred, having custody of her kids just didn't fit.

I love Gina Ardito's whole series of Nobody Romances. They offer just the right blend of realism, humor, and romance to lighten a tough day or make a plane trip speed by. Good plotting, seamless dialogue, and, most of all -- fun!
