Words that cry come out of Chavela Vargas voice. This is one of the first albums that this remarkable artist recorded, so it gives an excellent sample of the essential Chavela. Songs like "La noche de mi mal" and "Flor de azalea" sets the audience in the mood for a real bohemian night, like the tittle of the album suggests.

This album has all of Chabela's most moving, compelling songs. The guitar of Antonio Bribiesca sets an unique mood for the perfect bohemian comeback night.

I love this record and could listen to it 100s of times more and still find something new in it, Chavela is the most absolutely human and open singer in the world.
