This review is from: La Nochebuena South of the Border (Hardcover)
James Rice did an outstanding job with a variation of poems on "The Night Before Christmas". There's Cajun, Irish, Hawaiian, and others. This one is the Mexican Version. I acted it out with my 3rd Grade students for a holiday show, with some students reading the English and Spanish version and some students acting it out. Everyone had a blast. The illustrations are capturing the enjoyable tone. This is for all ages, even older students and adults will get a kick out of this book.
