The eternal Puerto Rican beauty interprets some of the best boleros and romantic songs written by Puerto Rican composers such
as Sylvia Rexach, Edmundo Disdier, Bobby Capo, Rafael Hernandez, Pedro Flores, Antonio Caban Vale, etc.,with her usual sweet voice and particular feeling. It includes a duet with Danny Rivera in Perdon( P. Flores).
This cd is part of a series of recordings to be made in Puerto Rico to preserve the best songs written by Puerto Rican composers in digital format.

I'm delighted that it has three beautiful boleros by the often--and undeservedly--forgotten Sylvia Rexach. And if Myrta Silva is remembered, it is always for "Que sabes tu," even though she wrote many equally good boleros. So it's nice to have a different song from Myrta's repertoire.
