Our award winning Nodal Ninja 3 with Advanced Rotator continues to bring in rave reviews from around the world. This is a specially designed Spherical Panoramic Tripod Mount allowing a photographer to adjust a camera/lens exactly over its correct rotational axis called the entrance pupil (aka Nodal Point) and or No Parallax Point (NPP). This helps to eliminate parallax error inherent when shooting multiple images side by side. Without parallax a photographer can seamlessly stitch multiple photographs together forming a larger higher resolution composite image. This model is primarily designed for point and shoot cameras as well as some smaller DSLR's with smaller lenses like the Canon Digital Rebel or Nikon D200. If using larger cameras and/or larger lenses please consider our NN5 series pano heads. Being a Full spherical tripod QTVR "pano head" enables you to correctly shoot multiple images to form full 360 x 180 spherical images. These images are then published on the internet in the form of quicktime (QTVR) or flash. This allows the viewer to physically interact with the image by clicking inside and rotating it up and down and all around. You can also zoom in and out and also know has immersive imagery and or virtual reality (VR) photography. Having used swing-lens type systems to make panoramas for several years I have only just made the switch to digital. Starting with 'guessed' motions I was not very satisfied with the results I was getting. I started looking at panoramic heads and a friend recommended I check out the Nodal Ninja. I can not be more happy with the NN3mk2. It is very easy to set up and use. It is very light and comes in a very nice travel case even making packing easy. That alone should be enough, but add to that truly excellent customer service makes this a very easy recommendation.
