I got this book through a friend in London, he bought it for me when it first came out in hardcover last year and brought it over to me about a week later. I read it in a day it was great. In America so little is known about Slade, much less Noddy Holder, but if any one wants to check out a really great band and man then get this book and a few Slade C.D.'s. My only regret about this book is not flying back over to London to have Noddy autograph it for me at the Virgin Megastore last November. This book is the life's story of one of the few truly great rock n' roll front men, Noddy was born to be the ultimate entertainer. He also has the best voice in rock music ever. Too all Americans who have banged their head to Quiet Riot's versions of "Cum On Feel The Noize", and Mama Weer All Crazee Now" Check out the real thing here. Book is not very long, but Noddy sure packs some great stories into his autobiography. I learned a few things about Slade that I didn;t know, and he also had stories about Marc Bolan, Freddie Mercury, The Beatles, Robert Plant, a particularly funny one about Ozzy, and much more. I highly recommend this book as a light, fun read if you can get your hands on a copy.
