This is a classic British children's show featuring stop-action puppets and marvelous sets - its like Postman Pat or the old Paddington series (not the new cartoon but the old one, with the puppet bear). It has been partially dubbed into American - the theme song and some of the characters retain their British accents, while Noddy and others talk American. But this is a quiet, wonderful show still, and "localization" has not resulted in manic, sarcastic or simply grating voices being substituted for the earlier calm. My four year old daughter loves this.

My son loves Noddy and watched it every day while we lived in Europe. He was so upset to discover that it didn't come on in America, so I looked for one online. I was disappointed not to be able to find it on DVD. I bought this one and my son loves to watch it, but the theme song is way different than the one on BBC. These songs are slow and kind of boring while the one on BBC was fast and fun. He always asks to sing the real Noddy song when we watch it.
Overall, this is okay, but not what we were hoping for.
