"Noel" tells the story of a Christmas tree ornament and his amazing fate. Sometimes sweet, sometimes sad, it's another splendid film by Romeo Muller, who wrote the classic Animagic, Rankin/Bass Christmas films "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town" and "Frosty the Snowman," among many other marvelous tales.

This 1992 TV special was in the regular holiday rotation for several years but I have not seen it lately. The story is narrated by Charlton heston and tells the story of a little red glass ornament named Noel, who for years enjoys, along with the other ornaments, his yearly routine of being hung on the tree.

Soon the old owners pass and for years Noel is left in a box in the attic along with the other ornaments. After many years new owners of the house discover the old ornaments and to put them up and Noel really discovers the meaning of christmas.

It's a nice sweet, although a bit sad little animated cartoon. My wife has always liked this one.

This is a great movie to watch with the kids....i am always trying to convey the message that christmas is so much more the getting gifts. And this movie explains to kids in a fun and whimsical way that christmas is SO much more. My kids and I love this movie, I fell in love with it the first time that i saw it. After we saw this we went out and bought our very own NOEL. This is a must for your christmas movie collection !!!

This video is a favorite of my child. It is a christmas special based on the life of a beautiful christmas ornament. Happiness learned at the bottom of the tree. (A manger scene)

Noel is a great show the whole family will love! This animated special is about a Christmas ornament who learns the true meaning of Christmas! This is a very spiritual show, that demonstrates the fact that even when our physical bodies break, our spirit continues to live! Noel is a Christmas classic you will feel good about sharing with someone you love. It is in my opinion, one of the best Christmas shows ever. Thank you for reading my opinion. Beautiful story told from the point of view of a Christmas ornament. Tries to capture the true meaning of Christmas, combining the nativity with the Christmas tree. Our family's favorite!

i don't have the video of this christmas cartoon but it is my absolute favorite christmas show! if only it was still in stock.

This a great movie for the whole family. I wish they would show it on TV again. PLEASE PUT THIS ON DVD

Very sweet movie! My kids all loved this tale growing up. They now want to watch it as teenagers and it is very hard to find. One of the few Christmas movies for kids that teach values as well as entertain.

I ordered this video for my daughter who watched this as a kid. She loved this video. It was in excellent shape. A nice Christmas surprise.
