Noel just brings way too many good memories for me. His songs are soft but happy and energetic at the same time. It's unfortunate that no one knows what happened to him. I rate him so high because he is THE ONE who started the dance revolution in the eighties.

noel was always one of my favrite. i loved and still love the freestyle music from back in the day. its a memorie that will never fade. i could relate to all those songs. the cd is full of noel's hits (silent morning, change, out of time, and like a child. i was always disapointed that he didnt include his collboration with tony moran, "the question" on this album. that was one of his finest moments. and as a huge depeche mode fan, that noel listed them as lis influences. if you can find this cd, get it. and all the memories will come back. cos the one thing about this style of music that EVERYONE says, its that it brings back so many pleasant memories.

as far asi'm concerned, noel, george lamond, safire, judy torres, cover girls and coro were at the top of their game. here's hoping for a freestyle comback soon.

I had the pleasure of seeing him perform live at a dance club in Dallas in the 80's. He put on a great show. After it was over; we got to meet him for an autograph and received a free single of "Slient Morning". That is such a great song. I have heard it played on the radio a lot lately, and was totally excited. I'm definitely going to purchase this album.

NOEL...JUST HAPPENED TO BE LIVING NEXT DOOR TO ME FOR 2 YEARS BEFOR I FOUND OUT THAT HE WAS THE NOEL THAT SANG THE SONG SILENT MORNING..I DIDNT BELIEVE IT AT FIRST..BUT IT WAS TRUE..I WAS BETTER IN FOOTBALL AND CHESS. ANYWAY THE UPDATE THAT I HAVE FOR ALL THAT HAVE ANY INTREST IS THAT HE HAS COME OUT WITH A NEW SINGL..AND IT KICKS ASS..
IT IS CALLED HAVE I FOUND TRUE LOVE. IT IS VERY GOOD AND THERE ARE LIKE 5 VERSIONS.. OH YEA WE LIVED IN HOLLYWOOD FLORIDA..NOW HE HAS MOVED BACK TO NEW YORK..AND HE CALLED ME THE OTHER DAY TO TELL ME THAT HE WAS IN A BAD CAR ACCIDENT AND ALMOST LOST AN ARM.. BUT HE SAYS HE THINKS IT WILL BE OK.
HE IS A PRETTY COOL GUY.. I WISH HIS NEW RECORD WOULD OF DONE BETTER..HOPE YOU GUYS... GOT SOME INFO THAT YOU WERE LOOKING FOR.. L8TER.

I just saw Noel perform in NYC back in May, and I have seen him perform about 4 times int he past 2 years in nYC. He still performs around the world and has a myspace page which he personally responds to. Check him out and enjoy his music, still!

I was happy to get my order before expected. Also it was in perfect condition. I will continue to do business with Amazon and recomend it to my friends and family.

I searched a long time for this cd and though expensive WOW!!!!! Talk about reliving the good times. Thanks.

Noel entered the freestyle music scene with "Silent Morning" and followed its huge sucess with other favorites "Like a Child and Out of Time". Another released single from this debut album was "Change" which may be his best work but failed to generate the sucess of the foregoing all of which is featured on this album. It is not the most sucessful freestyle album ever but all 8 slammin' tracks are jam packed with classic freestyle beats, melodies, and are backed by Noel's strong and sexy deep vocals. Noel takes the music seriously (no bubble gum freestyle here) his voice is haunting, his music euphoric. This is bliss if your a freestyle fan but probably rubbish to those who prefer the more mainstream freestyle. Noel has the New York freestyle sound similar to Coro, George Lamond, etc. that only appeals to the more fanatical of freestyle fans. Noel released a 2nd album in 93 which yielded 1 single and he pretty much abandoned his freestyle roots probably as a result of the lack of interest in the freestyle sound. He has not been heard from since. His self titled album remains his legacy to freestyle!

Had this album on cassette long time ago and I leant it out to my cousin and you know how that goes. This album reminds me so much of my HS years and especially where i grew up in Paterson, NJ everyone pumped Noel. I Highly recommend this Cd to anyone a true classic. I wish i still had it. Cant Wait to have it again someday.

I met Noel at a club in San Francisco. He came up to me and told me I had pretty eyes! He asked me to come up to the VIP lounge, and introduced me to his entourage. We talked about everything! He showed me the longboard he bought in SF, which he was taking to NY; told me I reminded him & everyone of "Carmen"; he then asked me to come to Los Angeles & NY with him but I said no! Flattering as it had been, I wasn't naive @ 18. He was a total gentleman. Who knows, he may have been serious. I had a chance to meet him again in Houston , Texas but I couldn't make it. Noel is my fave freestyler along with TKA. All his songs are great! The new track "will i find true love" is a great comeback! The cool voice hasn't changed. I also hope the bad rumors in the past about him weren't true. Best Wishes!
