Book Description

April 3, 2011
When the fantasical world of Annwn and 19th century Earth are magically merged, the mad goblin scholar, Bugbear, joins forces with a befuddled stage magician named Martin Manchester. Together with their motley assortment of allies, they must defeat an ancient evil bent on destroying life as they know it. In his tortured dreams, the mad goblin scholar, Bugbear, saw the coming war. Pride would crumble to dust. Glory would melt to tears. Wisdom would shatter to madness. And the shadows would reign supreme.Only an eldritch scroll, a humble bee, and Bugbear's awkward human apprentice could win this desperate struggle...a conflict that began in a time now remembered only in faded parchments, fractured whispers, and a children's rhyme...

More About the Author

Wil Radcliffe was apparently born. He has spent most of his life breathing, and sometimes writing. Between breaths and words he married a beautiful young woman from Morocco and created two talented children with her. Lately he's been hoping people will read his books and like them enough that they'll reward him with pizza.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great read! Can not put it down, June 10, 2008
By
This review is from: Noggle Stones (Paperback)
Noggle Stones is a well written book that keeps you engaged from page one. I would say the book is a combination of Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, but takes it to a whole new level.

The storyline is filled with danger and excitement. I really enjoyed how the main characters develop and trust in each other through the events that unfold around them.

The plot keeps you turning the page and the ending leaves you feeling satisfied, but hoping the author keeps up the story. I look forward to rereading the book and keeping my fingers crossed for a sequel.

5.0 out of 5 stars A fun read for young fantasy readers, highly recommended, June 6, 2010
This review is from: Noggle Stones (Paperback)
The search for knowledge is not without its own pitfalls. "Noggle Stones" follows a goblin called Bugbear as he goes through the woods seeking ancient ruins. But when he finds such ruins, he finds connections to a much darker and evil time, and soon finds there are things he may not be wise to investigate. "Noggle Stones" is a fun read for young fantasy readers, highly recommended.
