Unlike many other student acrylics that are mostly vinyl based Art Noise is made from 100% acrylic emulsion. This line of non-toxic permanent colours is made from artist quality materials so colors are clean and mix beautifully making it ideal for teaching color theory. It dries to a durable flexible satin finish that will not flake or chalk. This Set includes 5 pints one each Primary Red Primary Yellow Primary Blue Black and White.

My daughter paints a lot and I bought her this set and a tube set with different colors. This set will serve her (and anyone) well for base colors and mixing. There's a good deal of paint to work/play with and at a reasonable price.

I use these paints for art and crafts and for body painting. I love that there's just so dang much of it. I don't have to worry about wasting any paint. This is student quality paint and very good for budget painters.

These paints have turned out to be a great deal of fun. With my small set of "real" acrylics I am always wary of using them up. But with these huge pints of paint, I have no problem about using them because there is plenty - so I am less inhibited. I am not a professional artist, but paint for fun, and for that, these are fine.
To the previous reviewer, if you are painting on wood it is a good idea to use 2 or 3 coats of gesso first, otherwise the wood will just soak up the paint. Anyway, these are cheap acrylics made for non-serious work. And for that, they are great.
