gotta get my daily dose,

This immediately became a once a day play for me. The whole electronica scene had gone completely stale, then this CD comes along and reinvents the entire genre. Hypnotic and harsh at the same time, stereolab meet Zeni Geva and kick out out 8 gems including two 15 minute trips.

There hasn't been a band since Tackhead that has filled the void where other beatniks fail. Chemical Brothers doesn't even come close. Noiseotica works. Noiseotica delivers.

Noise + beatz =,

dialectical friction between ripping d-n'-b programming and galactic-terrorist monoliths of improv guitar shreik synthesizes into the most compelling genre cluster-funk since Derek Bailey's _Guitar Drum n' Bass_ ...the future sound of the underground grabbed impatiently by the scruff of the neck and shoved in your face today, without any consideration for bandwagons or medical histories...on the same label as diabolical culture-jamming noise legends Condemek, which may reveal the identities of certain of the otherwise anonymous bandmembers..."hard step"? try "hardcore crush"...the Chemical Brothers will never sound like this; maybe you'll be grateful...

..from the moment that I put this cd on..i knew that it was something special..the first piece ABC really drew me in with its razor sharp yet spacial guitar sounds...and pulsating grooves...no cliches here!!....as the cd progressed it really expanded on different aspects of noise and rhythm...the piece HARDGROVE..jumps from idiom to idiom..first its electronica...then its some sort of bizzare salsa...HOMER LAURA..is really definitive of the release...sleak grooves textured..with continually changing sound structures...overall...something for mind and body this is a great debut release!!
