Nokia BH604 Bluetooth Headset

I tried Motorola's MOTOROKR S9-HD first, untill I found out it was an imitation. I bought that one on eBay since it's not for sale in Europe and Amazon won't ship it(!) to the Netherlands either. Comparing a fake wouldn't be fair in the first place, but I knew that the form of the S9 would never provide the comfortable fit that allows wearing it for hours.

The Nokia BH-604 is a little more expensive but it feels so much better. It supports the bluetooth 2.0 + EDR standard and the usual Headset Profile 1.1, Hands-free Profile 1.5, Advanced Distribution Profile (A2DP) 1.0 and Audio Video Control Profile 1.0.

It sounds great. I can even use it to listen to music on my computer (Mac Pro), while it's also linked to my iPhone to take a call anytime I get one. The size is adjustable and even though it's not as bulky as I thought, it still fits large heads.

ALL buttons are on the right side, which may be less intuative if you're a 'lefty' (maybe you can turn it 180 degrees?). The buttons are huge so you can't miss them. At first, it's easy to grab the headset while accidently pushing a button.

It comes with a nice, tiny charger and a carrying bag. It's light. You can't walk around the house without losing the signal, but you can as long as you stay in the same room as your devices. The earpieces can be rotated 90 degrees, so you can put it quite flat on a table or in a suitcase.

All together I am quite pleased with it. It does what I expected. If I had to come up with something to improve it, maybe I would increase the number of steps the volume makes from soft to loud.

I am very disappointed in this headset, while playing music from Nokia N96 phone, background noise and distortion is heard, I am not able to use the headset and I am using the original corded headphones that came with the phone... Major disappointment for the high price of BH-604 Bluetooth headset !!!
