5.0 out of 5 stars Great Mobile Charger!
I'm really glad I purchased an "authentic" Nokia Mobile Charger. This item works great! In the past I've purchased mobile chargers from Cingular & AT&T. Neither had the speed that this charger has. I highly recommend getting the genuine Nokia if that is your brand of phone.

2.0 out of 5 stars Too tight for comfort
Although the charger has a Nokia label, I expcected better quality and wonder if it is a knockoff. The charger was very tight fit into my car's charger port; so tight that I was concerned about damaging the charger port. I attempted to squeeze the two spring blades a little closer so the fit were not so tight, but one of the blades cracked. Now, however, the charger...

The charger was very tight fit into my car's charger port; so tight that I was concerned about damaging the charger port. I attempted to squeeze the two spring blades a little closer so the fit were not so tight, but one of the blades cracked. Now, however, the charger fits much easier.

My next disappointment is the short cord, which barely reaches from the charging port to a tray on the console.

Oh, and, yes, it does a great job of charging my phone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cheaper than knockoffs and fits perfectly and snugly, April 10, 2009

When I first purchased my N95 I bought a cheap knockoff for twice the price I just paid for the Amazon one. The knockoff would not stay in the phone and would not maintain a consistent charge. Pay less and get a better quality product from the manufacturer of your phone. A great deal. Works fine for my N95 and E71.

The coiled cord is coiled tight and can pull itself out of the phone while charging. Otherwise it works well.

4.0 out of 5 stars Charges the Nokia E63, April 4, 2011

This Nokia DC-4 Mobile Charger fits the Nokia E63. The charging time is normal rather than quick (such as when using a quick charger). The construction is average. If you prefer using an OEM charger in the car then this is it.

4.0 out of 5 stars This Beats Paying $30 At My Local Dealer, May 17, 2009

The local ATT in my town say to be weary if its not real NOKIA electronics because they my differ and damage my phones battery.
Unless this is completely counter fit, I am very happy. This charger has a light on it to let you know its powered and itcharges my phone when I'm on the go. As far as I can tell its made by NOKIA -Has stamps/stickers, and the materials it's made out of are consistent with my stock outlet phone charger that came with my phone.
Dealer shipped my charger fast and packed it as well as it needed. I would buy from them again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pleased, December 12, 2008

I was shocked to find this charger at the AT&T store for $29.99 so I searched around and found it for less than $5.00 with free shipping.

At first I was skeptical that this was an original Nokia Charger for that price. When it arrived it came without any fancy packaging and I was concerned that it might damage my E71 if it was a cheap knock off. Well I tried it and it works fantastic, it is the original charger. Who wants fancy packaging, I hear the packaging is most of the price.

Makes me wonder why the AT&T store rips us off.

The second time I used it I accidently touched the plug on a metal part of the vehicle and I saw sparks, after that there was no power, however it turned out to be a blown fuse in the car, so no damage.

It still works well after 3 weeks of continual use.

The charger is okay. It is built sturdy and I had no problems with it. However, it doesn't seem to charge my phone very quickly. It takes almost double the amount of time as the home plug-in charger.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good Basic Gear, July 6, 2008

The Nokia N82 is everything one would dream of in a cell phone. It however has one little weakness- poor battery life. Being a former Sony-Ericsson user, one thing I like about Sony phone is its lenghty battery life. I can go 4 days without charging the phone. The N82? About 2 days of normal usage- camera, music, several calls, GPS, etc. Without charging via USB connection, it's good to have a car charger handy for emergency situations (that is, if you own a car).

The DC-4 charger is just a basic car cigarette charger. Plug it in and that's it! Juice it up for about 30 minutes until you can get home for a full charger. It has a green led indicator at the cigarette charger end letting you know it is charging your phone with electricity. Leave it in your car under a hot summer sun? No problem, and the plastic won't come apart exposing the inside wiring like some of the cheaper version. This is the Nokia factory model, and I definitely recommend N82 users to invest in one. Forget about the spare battery- it is a cell phone not a digital camera. You have to remove the back cover to switch battery, turn on, wait for reception, and perhaps enter your phone security code.... too much hassle, just get a cigarette charger instead.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must have, November 30, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I ordered two, one for each vehicle. Like other reviewers said, the plug is a little tight fitting, but I want it that way. I don't want it to fall out. The other end fits nicely into the phone and won't try to slip out. Would purchase more of these if I needed them.
