This is the second LPS-4 Loopset I have own. The connector broke after 2 years of use and several phones on the last one. I am able to understand people better and also able to block out other people talking around me. Anyone who has to use hearing aids to listen you just can't go wrong. I can be listening to music through the T-coils in the hearing aids and switch over to the telephone without a problem. I was lost without it till I received my new one.

I have been using Nokia phones since 1999 when I got the first Nokia that came with a loop. My cousin got it for my birthday. I was in heaven when I could first hear on it. It takes a little getting used to the "digital" voice, but it is achievable.The old loops seemed to break a few times a year, but the LPS-4 has lasted me over 2 years. The great thing about it is you no longer have to use batteies to power the loop. The power comes from the phone. Great savings there!! I have a 90% loss, so my hearing is pretty severe & I am able to hear familiar voices pretty well (not perfect, but enough to hold a conversation). Ive tried Hatis & also hearing aid compatible phones & nothing matches up to a Nokia! Did you know that the man that invented the loopset for Nokia is hearing impaired himself? He was the one who also made the LPS-4 to run from phone power & not batteries. Here is a product invented by a individual that uses the product & understands!

Like the others say, this is an INDISPENSIBLE item in my life. I never leave home without it. Its like wearing headphones, its TOO COOL! They tend to break/wear out after two years, so factor that in, but other than that, super reliable. I use Widex Divas and this is a great setup for me.
