2.0 out of 5 stars This is a carrying case, not a regular leather case., January 31, 2003

This review is from: Nokia Leather Case for Nokia 6360 Series Phone (Wireless Phone Accessory)
Even though the description does not say so, this is the Nokia CSL-17 which is a leather carrying case. This is not the CSL-27 which is a leather case that still lets you see the keypad and the display without opening the case. Don't get me wrong, this is a nice case if that is what you are looking for.

3.0 out of 5 stars kind of cool, kind of useless..., February 10, 2003

First of, this case looks really nice. You can slip your Nokia 6360 into it, Teflon it shut and it rides on your belt rather more like a sun glasses case than a cell phone case. But you cannot easily get at and operate the phone from within this case. You CAN hook the earphones to it while it is in the case, and with Voice Commands you can operate the phone that way, but it's not one of those little form-fitting cell phone jackets that let you get at the keys, etc. So it's snazzy, but a little troublesome. I like it because the phone is small, thin, and easily slips into cracks in the car seats, etc. It looses itself in my pockets and I can't really get at it. And if you don't mind walking around with the dorky ear bud in your ear and barking commands at the phone then you can use it pretty well. Still, I would have preferred the older-style case that, while not as cool, is more useful in my opinion. I think cell phones need to snap on somewhere to the user, so this seems to be the wave of the future. I needed it, and I bought it, and it's just OK.

This is really more of a carrying case for a phone. Once you put the phone in and close the case you cannot see the display or the keybad on the phone. I decided to get the actual leather case for this phone which is more functional.

1.0 out of 5 stars Straight to the kitchen junk-drawer, July 10, 2003

This case is made of thick stiff cow-hide making it large and stiff. The single small belt clip balances the case in a horizontal position so it falls if you move around much and because of its bulk, it gets in your way before it falls off.
