Big Sound out of Tiny Speakers,
By Lou-Lou "Lou-Lou" (Euclid, Ohio) - See all my reviews

I just heard these tiny amazing speakers tonight in the shop in which I work. A customer had just gotten them and had not heard them yet and was afraid to try them in the shop. I encouraged him to, turned down our stereo system and he turned on his tiny (but incredibly cute) speakers. It was incredible! We were shocked at the fullness of the sound! He started walking to the back of the shop and the sound seemed to get bigger! I and everyone in the shop started getting pens and paper to write down the brand and model......these things are really cool. I am buying them for my ipod nano!

...and these things are WAY pretty; in fact, they're quite the conversation starter when people see them.
Few can resist the urge to ask what they are. It's hard to believe that I got them for so little money. I still enjoy them in the car w/ my voice recorder and sometimes w/ my phone - Palm Pixi Plus Verizon Cell Phone ~ No Contract. I don't use it in the house as much anymore, since I got the Bluetooth dongle - NEW Version Belkin F8Z492-P Bluetooth Music Receiver.

I purchased these speakers to pair with my Sony Ericcson W518a Walkman phone. I wanted something I could bring anywhere and listen to my music, without having to wear headphones. The MD-6 ended up being perfect. I set it on my desk at work in the morning, the car, hotel rooms....they are perfect for transportability. The sound quality is great, but my Walkman phone has an equalizer in it,so that may be an advantage. They are also pretty loud for their size.I have an open floor plan in my house with the living room adjacent to the kitchen. If I am in the living room and have the music turned all the way up my wife asks me to turn it down from the kitchen,so I guess they are loud enough. They look great too.Shiny black and sleek with the bright red accenting. The only worry I have is that at some point the hinge is going to break, especially pulling them out of the leather sleeve/case. The sleeve is a very tight fit. In order to pull them out of the sleeve you have to pull from the small speaker end pretty hard. They are too lomg to pull them out from the other direction.

I love the small size of these speakers, and the sound is a big upgrade from a cell phone.
I think a lot of the bad reviews are from people plugging it in using the wrong adapter. Use the included adapter to use these speakers with a standard stereo jack. The base jack is the Nokia AV jack and may not work well with your phone. Basically if it sounds really quiet and distorted, like blown out speakers, you are using the wrong connector. This has a smaller 2.5" jack and the standard 3.5" stereo connector. The adapters add to size but they do stay on extremely well so I don't feel unsafe leaving the cord dangling. Pros: - Extremely good sound for such a small device. Fits well in a cargo or jacket pocket. - Cool design, looks expensive. - Adapters snap on extremely well and won't fall off. Make sure you snap it on all the way! - Battery/Power indicator LED Cons: - Battery cover is a little easy to slide off, especially since the case is slide-on. - Case is very tight and a bit of a hassle to use. Hopefully it will stretch just a bit. It's a velvety slip cover. - Case offers no cable management. The cable does wind up inside the unit but the - No on-board volume, not much of a con for a device this compact. Not Tested: - Battery Life - Durability (I wonder about the hinge...)

Not sure what everyone else is complaining about. Imagine deeper and louder ipod/phone speakers and that is what you get. IMO really nice sound for such a tiny product.

Based on some other reviews I thought these little speakers might be decent. I was wrong. They were a complete waste of money.

this is probably the worst and stupidest product ever manufactured..
i am even dumber for buying it thinking that you could produce sound in a small space.. the quality of the speakers are inferior, like nokia, who are only good for stealing money then using the money to name entertainment buildings... |
