The tri-band Nokia N70 mobile phone combines sleek, sophisticated good looks with user-friendly multimedia technology. Incorporating a complete smartphone feature set, as well as a 2-megapixel camera, flash and front camera for video calling, the Nokia N70 comes fully equipped with stereo FM radio, a digital music player and new 3D games.
This unlocked cell phone can be used with a GSM network service provider and it provides tri-band connectivity (900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz). It does not come with a SIM card, and it requires that you provide a SIM card for usage with your selected service provider. This phone comes with a one-year warranty from a third party provider.

When paired with a compatible 3G network that uses UMTS 2100 MHz connectivity (found in Europe and Asia), you'll enjoy a high-speed connection offering a variety of feature-rich wireless services--from data connectivity to your office to multimedia streaming, and take advantage of simultaneous voice and data services. In the United States and foreign territories where 2100 MHz 3G networks are not available, you'll continue to receive data service via EDGE network (depending on network compatibility).
Phone Features
The N70's slide and shoot design makes mobile photography fast and simple. The rear camera slide reveals and automatically activates the 2 megapixel camera, ready to instantly shoot photos or video. The intuitive slide is complemented with an integrated flash, 20x zoom capability and a range of scene capture settings for optimizing image quality in various environments, including Scenery, Portrait, Night, and Sports. The dedicated shutter key on the side of the phone enables you to capture images like you would with a regular camera, allowing for greater stability and ease of use. Print photos directly from the N70 thanks to the Nokia XpressPrint printing feature--simply connect to a compatible printer via USB or using a Bluetooth wireless connection.
The phone offers a second VGA camera with a 2x digital zoom, enabling you to take part in video calling easily. The N70 also comes with a video recorder feature that allows you to record, store play back edited recordings with ease.
The N70 has a brightly colorful TFT display with a 176 x 208-pixel resolution and 256K colors. The keypad is supplemented by a 5-way scroll key, two soft keys, application key, edit and clear keys, and send and end keys. The T9 predictive text entry technology is built into the unit, which makes it easier for people to enter words and text on handsets--a plus for mobile email and text messaging users.
Getting on the Internet is easy with the N70. It supports the GPRS data protocol, as well as high-speed EDGE wireless data service and UMTS (UMTS/WCDMA 2100 MHz) 3G wireless broadband. (Note that 2100 MHz service is not offered by any U.S. carrier at this time.) It offers a full range of email, text, and multimedia messaging options, including email with support for attachments such as JPEG, 3GP, MP3, PDF, Word and Excel files, and PowerPoint. In addition to SMS text messaging, it also provides MMS capabilities for creating, receiving, editing, and sending videos and pictures with AMR (adaptive multi-rate) voice clips.
You'll enjoy your favorite tunes (in MP3 or AAC format), as well as streaming RealMedia and 3GPP video at broadband speeds (compatible provider plan required). With the Visual FM radio, you can find out what song is playing, who sings it, and other artist information. The phone has a 22 MB memory, which is expandable via Secure Digital (SD) and MMC memory cards.
The phone comes with easy-to-operate voice features, including voice recording, voice dialing, and voice commands. Other features include a handsfree speaker, conference call capability, and push to talk for walkie talkie-like conversation.

The N70 weighs 4.44 ounces and measures 4.28 x 2.09 x 0.86 inches. Its 970 mAh lithium-ion battery is rated at up to 3.5 hours of talk time, and up to 265 hours of digital standby time. This tri-band phone runs on the 900/1800/1900 GSM/GPRS frequencies.

Let me start with saying tha NOKIA phones are the best when it comes to signal recpetion, quality of sound and durability. Nokia N70 is probably the best phone at this time in the higher range (even better than N90).
I have had this phone for 6 months now. The camera is good, you can download/ upload pictures and ringtones with the cable that comes. The screen is big anf bright. The only thing I am looking for is a protective cover for the screen which prevents scratches.

It's a great phone with lots of features...
advantages -lots of add ons software, themes including 3D games available -new firmware is quite stable -flawless sync with outlook with groups, categories support disadvantages -sound quality not that good compared to sony w810i -no a2dp (means u can't use stereo headset for listening to songs -slow UI -batttery life not that good

I have this phone in english and arabic, it's excellent and so fun to use!
It has two cameras and the quality of pictures and videos are the best I've seen in phones, this nokia cellphone is quite popular in the middle east but I havent seen it where I live in Canada. Creating little movies is really fun, also the once you get the hang of it you'll realize it's pretty easy to use. Enjoy! The copper/pearl colour is the best in my opinion, such a lovely phone!
