This is the exact cable for the N97. Works great! Fit's snuggly into the 3.5 mm jack.

It's from Nokia. Works great, as it should. Great Price. There was a mix up with the wrong part being sent, but the company set it straight.

Purchase for a Nokia C6-01. Arrived quickly and the cable was the OEM Nokia TV-Video audio cable. Plugged it into the composite in on my TV, selected Input on my TV and the phone display was both on the tv and on the phone. Works, didn't have to change any settings on the phone. The cable is not very long so the phone is about 3 ft from the tv, but you can use it for videos at a party or a slide show. However it isn't super high res, which probably matches the phone. Quick displays, works great, but use something else for business or dedicated presentations.

4 star because I think the cable is a little short, but length might impact battery life and signal degradation, so it may be a reasonable length.

This cable works with my Nokia C6-01. I used it on vacation with the TV sets in the hotels.
It also works with the video and audio inputs on my portable DVD player.
I also used my Apple Bluetooth keyboard and Magic Mouse with this cable and my C6-01.
The C6-01 Bluetooth supports HID devices like mice an keyboards.
The cable allows you to use the TV screen for all the phone activities and applications.
Some applications even "dual screen"!
Sorry if this reads like a Nokia product ad but the only way to rate a cable is to describe what the things you attach are doing.

This cable is a good video out cable for a 3 element jack, but there is a collar at the top end of the plug that could prevent it from working (because it cannot be inserted all the way). I have a Samsung Galaxy S phone, and I had read a review that there was a cable on Amazon by Nokia that would work for the TV Out functions. This is not it. The 3.5mm tip would not fit all the way in due to the collar.

I am sure that the cable works great. It just won't work on any 3.5 jacks which have a tight jack.
