These are gloves that will last you a long time and will not fail you.

The leather is top quality and the inside of the glove is made of the same leather that is on the outside of the glove.

Take care of it with glove conditioner (or shaving cream) and the leather stays great!

We got the Nokona softball glove for my daughter. It is absolutely awesome! The leather is top quality and the inside of the glove is made of the same leather that is on the outside of the glove. It cost a lot more than we have ever paid for a glove but we were buying a new glove every year because they just weren't holding up. This glove will last well into her high school years and possibly college. It is truely a top quality glove.

I got this glove off Amazon a week or two ago and I'm completely in love with it. It's just the right size, the leather is top notch and well oiled/tanned, and the craftsmanship is great. Not a single loose stitch in the whole thing. I'd recommend this to either a baseball or softball player. A teammate described my glove as "sexy" and I couldn't disagree. It's awesome. It's going to take a while to really break in (which a good glove should) but it's already breaking in well due to the awesome walnut crunch leather.

Because you can't see the back of the glove in the picture I'll do my best to describe it. It has a hole for your index finger to sit out of the glove and then both the left and right side come together across the top of your hand and are held in place by two leather straps that can be tied/adjusted. No velcro closure or anything, and I like that. It looks just like the back of the Nokona WS-1200C. I hope this helps.

I've had this glove for about three years, and would cry real tears if I ever lost it or it broke. The leather is top quality, and you can feel the difference. It's softer, more substantial, more *there*. One of my teammates borrowed it yesterday and said, "There's something in this glove, besides my hand." That's how I feel, too. I've played baseball or softball all my life and this is the only glove I'd say I actually love.

I've been playing 12 inch softball for the last five years and have gone through a number of gloves. The reason has less to do with the wear and tear but more about fit and feel over the course of a few seasons. I've primarily played in Rawling's and Mizuno's and due to the fact I've had to switch from outfield to infield a number of times, I've had to use everything between 12 and 14 inch gloves. Over the past few years, my personal preference had moved to a 13 inch Mizuno as an all purpose glove. Despite this, I've noticed that it has had a hard time keeping form for me after a prolonged use, which is to be expected but it seemed like a pretty quick transition from here to there.

Enter the Nokona.

I had always seen Nokona's in sporting goods stores and passed them up purely because of price. What I didn't realize is that had I just started with the Nokona in the first place, I probably wouldn't have gone out and purchased so many gloves.

Outside of the craftsmanship, you'll notice just how incredibly stiff the glove is at first. Truth be told, I purchased the glove in the winter of 2012. I would treat the glove on occasion with Nokona's brand of treatment cream. Even with the treatment, it took me a summer season of intermittent use before I felt I could play comfortably in the glove. Once summer was over and we had transitioned to fall, the glove felt fantastic. I'm not going to say it was the glove but I actually had my best fielding season at third while wearing it. Outside of that, it has great weight and a nice feel once you break in the pocket. It's nice to play with something that feels like it was crafted with care.

I'm obviously just regurgitating what everyone else has already said about the glove itself. It's a fantastic product that comes at a premium but it honestly feels like it will last you forever. If it's in your wheelhouse I'd highly recommend it.

I've owned this glove for a while now and I must say its my go to glove. I've got Easton, Rawlings, and Louisville Slugger gloves and they are nothing compared to Nokona. My Nokona has just gotten better with age. The leather and craftsmanship is beautiful and durable. These are gloves that will last you a long time and will not fail you. An added bonus is that they are completely made in the US for Americas past time. If you're considering this glove I can honestly say its my best investment. These are the type of gloves you will never get rid of they become your best friend. Nokonas customer service is also the best. Very kind and helpful people. They always respond. Best part is you can send your glove to them to get relaced and it feels new yet perfectly broken in! its around $50. These gloves will last you years. Try it you'll wish there were more companies like Nokona.

I had always used Nokona till a few years ago I saw a glove that looked great but after a months use or so dried out and lost its shape........even with me constantly working on it.

I finally came to my senses and purchased this glove and its already my favorite glove I've ever had. It has the perfect shape, the hide is great, the ball almost wants to stick in the mitt instead of popping out.

Make sure to wipe dust out of it after every game, and use a conditioner (NOT OIL!) on it at least once a month and this glove will last you a long time.
