I used LeaseWriter to prepare documents for a rental house. I obtained a lease from a local property management company and I found the lease within this program to be much more thorough than the lease used by the agency. I also received a draft lease from an attorney and the LeaseWriter lease contained all of the same major sections. The lease is easy to fill out and edit. The program allows you export the forms into Word and edit even more, if necessary, and I liked that feature a lot. The only thing I would suggest to the maker is to allow the user to view the forms without having to go through all of the interview/input screens. Sometimes I just wanted to see what the form looked like. Also, the lease refers to "Tenant Rules & Regulations" and gives some areas that may be covered in this type of document, but it does not provide a form to create one, or specific examples. Luckily I was also able to get this from an attorney. Overall, though, I believe that the forms cover all of the bases and necessary legal issues that I will be using these for any properties I rent in the future.
