This is not the NOMAD unit, it is only a powerpack, do not be fooled by a gamer, he is a lying cheat

This game system had great graphics. You can Play any kind of sega genisis games on it. You can also hook it up to the tv and play. So if you love Sega and you want to bring your games on the road buy this!

this system is great. the genesis games look awesome on a little screen. especially when you plug in the headphones. it sounds loud in your ears just as if you were playing it on TV. so if you have lots of genesis games and you want to play them handheld buy this. Do not listen to those 2 stupid reviewers who gave it 1 star. they are just jealous they can't have one.

in 1991 they lauch the game gear. then in 1995 was the nomad. some games look spectacular on the small screen. if you are playing a cheesy game on the genesis. the nomad small screen, the game looks great, i guess the small screen hides all the flaws. it's still great up until today.

the genesis might be old but, the games are still great, to see on the little screen. car adaptor for long trips on the road. ac adaptor to save battery life. this is great. highly recommended.

the nomad is not a great system. but its fun to use at times. it freezes up half the time and uses battery in less than 2 hours in my point of view dont buy it

I just have to say that the Nomad is 1,000 times better than any gameboy (why) because you don't have to sit under a light and worry about a glare on the screen,also the gameboy's screen is half the size of the Nomad and the gameboys sound is way too quite the reason that the Nomad did not sell very well is because Sega realeased it to late they did it when all the 32-bit systems were coming out. If your going to buy a real hand held system buy a Game-Gear or the Nomad,don't cramp up your hands with a gameboy.I have had many problems with my gameboy,sometimes when I turn it on it will say gameboy on the screen and then it will freeze,So the Nomad is not the only one that does that you'll most likely get that on ANY system and that usually means that it's time to clean it or make sure the cartridge is in all the way if you go gameboy your missing out on the better system (THE NOMAD).

I recently purchase a nomad here at amazon. and i was blown away with the graphics and sound. the sound is great in stereo. i like how the genesis games look on a smaller screen and you hear the sound clear as ever. i was shock to hear in street fighter ken and ryu's hadoken and their hurricane kick and shoruken and guile's sonic boom sounds clear as ever. sega really outdid the competition with this. if you are thinking of getting one it's hard to find in stores because i've called many stores and they don't sell them anymore but you can purchase it here at amazon. a must buy!

this is still one of the best handhelds ever. great graphics, ac adaptor to save battery power. it's great. too bad sega will never make a next console or handheld again. they are now just a game manufacturer company. this is still dammmn good. they are selling fast. go get one.
