Stylish and practical February 25, 2010

I live in NYC so good rain-boots are a must-have for the winters here. I got these in black and I am very happy with them. I normally wear size 7 and I was aware that these run a size bigger so I ordered a size 6 and they fit perfectly - there is still room for a thick sock. They leg part is nice and slim so they look great with skinny jeans and have a cute little heel for some extra height.

calf problems October 13, 2010

I am disappointed with them. I wear a size 9 and ordered a size 8. My foot fits fine. The boots fit my "normal-sized" upper calf well also. The problem is that the distal calf is incredibly loose. I feel that the only way the boots would actually fit my leg, is if my limbs resembled that of an elephant.

I was looking for Wellington-look-alike rain boots and found these. They do look like "rain boots" - I was hoping that they'd be fashionable enough to go out in them. Nonetheless, they are cute and great for the price I paid.
