I was looking for an inexpensive pair of rain boots recently due to the fact that I ride a bus to and from work every day. On cold, wet days no one likes to stand outside with wet feet... and then go sit in the office with cold wet feet. That kind of thing can ruin your day.

I was extremely surprised and delighted to get this pair for Christmas, and after trying them on I am even more delighted. The rubber is thick and appears to be durable, though obviously only time will tell if the durability assessment is true. They look great on and are wide enough to accommodate my pant legs so that the legs don't get wet either. I actually have to pull them all the way closed even with my pant legs inside due to having slender calves. I point this out because they have a good three to four inches of room left when fully expanded and could accommodate a large range of calf sizes.

As far as sole/shoe size goes, they run a little large, which is due in part to the width. My nines fit just about the same way my 9.5 running shoes do, lengthwise. But,they are definitely wide. I didn't send them back because well, most rain boots I have tried are wide and what are you going to do if you have narrow feet? I wore thick socks with them and that seemed to do the trick.

Over all, they are great. Comfortable, flexible and dry if you can handle the extra width or happen to need the extra width. I've only worn them once though. Will update with any changes after they've gotten more wear.

This boot was nice enough to look at but the sizes are not correct at all. The size 8 was closer to a size 9 1/2 or 10. Also, the print looked like it would get scratched easily. I returned these and got Sloggers instead. They are true to size and the colors are brilliant and go all the way thru the rubber instead of looking like they were painted on the boot. Also...Sloggers are made in the USA.

The company that I purchased these from were very nice and there was no problem returning the boots. I also got my credit in a timely fashion. As always it's a joy to deal with Amazon and their suppliers.

I have wide feet, so I usually wear an 8, but I ordered a 7, and they fit fine. I was able to put a pair of orthodics in as well. They're not extremely comfortable, but by no means uncomfortable.
I bought these about 8 months ago after my first pair from Costco began to split. I bought them in March but didn't use them at all from mid-May to September. So, they've really only had about 5 months of use. This has been a very wet season for central PA, and they have gotten quite a bit of use on a college campus. The seam along the back of the left boot split, through the rubber strip covering it. The strip on the back of the right boot is falling off. Both boots have cracks in on the sides, causing my feet to get wet, which defeats the purpose of rain boots. I am now wearing them with duct tape on them, because I don't feel like spending the money to buy new boots so soon. I suppose that when I do eventually buy new boots, I should buy more expensive ones that will last more than one semester. You do a lot of walking in the rain in college.
