I use a foam spray glass gleaner and a soft cloth, microfiber if I have it handy. As for protecting them, mine came in a plastic sheet, almost like a document protector, and I just store them in that. Everything scratches eventually, I just take extra time when using them. Any little scratches can easily be removed in the editing stage.
