Product Description

NEW MATERIALS. New keyboards are super-thin, Grifiti Slim Wrist Pads are, too...all made in the USA. This new pad flips over so you can either have no logo or the Grifiti logo face up. Three Sizes Available!!! We offer these Slim Wrist Pad wrist rests in three sizes: Slim Wrist Pad 12 (12 x 4 x 0.25 inches) for the wireless keyboard shown here; Slim Wrist Pad 17 (17 x 4 x 0.25 inches) to match Apple's wired keyboard with numeric keypad or the Apple wireless keyboard with the Apple Magic Trackpad;, and the Slim Wrist Pad 5 (5 x 3.5 x 0.25 inches) designed for Apple's Magic Trackpad. If you use the Magic Trackpad together with the wireless keyboard, the Slim Wrist Pad 17 works great. They're perfect for other thin keyboards and mouse wrist pads. Logitech, Microsoft, and others. But keyboard technology is moving fast these days and the major trend is towards super thin keyboards with a front lip of about 1/4 inch in height. We've taken notice and worked up a whole new line of Grifiti Slim Wrist Pads in 5 inch, 12 inch, and 17 inch lengths. We use the same materials as our Fat Wrist Pads, with non-skid neoprene rubber base with a smooth nylon surface. We've dumped the nylon surface in favor of a smooth, cool, slick skin surface on the rubber. Works great with the Grifiti Deck 13, 15, and 17 laptop lap desk and keyboard platforms.

The wrist rest is of the perfect width and length, and fits the keyboard perfectly.

The material could have been cut off from a cold-water wetsuit, it's as dense, and offers bare-bone wrist relief from some hard surface supporting the keyboard.

I just took some crazy glue and reattached it but there are noticeable gaps around the covering.

It's great to finally have a wrist rest that's the correct thickness (height) for a bluetooth keyboard. Wrist rests designed for traditional desktop keyboards tend to be too tall, so I couldn't get my fingers in proper typing position unless I propped the keyboard up on bubble wrap. This one is the right height, so your fingers are at the correct angle for typing - and also the right width, so you don't have to have the wrist rest sticking out several inches past the keyboard on the side. The only problem is the depth - it's 4" deep, which means you have to sit the keyboard farther away from you than I normally would. I'm not sure why it's this deep, except that it would fit on the palm rests of a laptop if you wanted to put it there. Can't really complain, because the dimensions are stated in the description - but I just think it's deeper than it should be for use with a separate keyboard.

Edit 4/4/13 Looking again at the product description: I'm not sure why it says you can flip the pad over to have no logo. If you did that, your hands would be resting on the non-skid neoprene, and the slippery nylon would be against your desk. Can't imagine anyone would want that. I don't personally think the logo is obtrusive, but in case anyone was planning on flipping it over, I don't think that's really practical.

Read the description accurately: it does say 1/4 inch thick; do not expect much padding. The material could have been cut off from a cold-water wetsuit, it's as dense, and offers bare-bone wrist relief from some hard surface supporting the keyboard. The 4-inch depth allows some latitude in positioning, which is good. However, I was hoping in something more comfortable.

This is a very firm wrist pad. However, it is comfortable to use and is the right height for my application. It also remains in place very well when used on my slanting lap desk. I highly recommend it.

I do a fair amount of typing on my iPad, and I've started to hate its touchscreen keyboard. So I got bluetooth keyboard and I use it for most any typing I do, blog, email, even tweets. But my wrist would get sore and normal wrist rests are way too big and thick. This wrist pad is the perfect size for both of my bluetooth keyboards, and it's not too thick. Other wrist rests would leave my wrists towering over the keyboard. If you have a portable keyboard designed to work with an iPad or similar sized tablet, then this is exactly what you need. It's as portable as any equipment you buy for it, it's discreet, and does an excellent job of preventing strain and soreness.

This fits my small apple keyboard nicely and looks great on my desk and against the black and silver accents of the iMac. It's padded perfectly and gives my wrist the support needed. If you want a wrist pad to go with your small apple keyboard, that has great padding, no added bulk and looks handsome on your desk, I highly recommend this.

I've had this wristpad for about a year now and it's not bad for the price.

Definitely more comfortable and it stays in place due to the bottom texture of the neoprene.

The issue I have with mine is that after a few months of use the nylon cover started to fray in multiple areas and started to 'peel' away from the base. A higher quality glue might be better to prevent this in the future. I just took some crazy glue and reattached it but there are noticeable gaps around the covering.

There was also an issue with one side of the base forming an indent where my left wrist is positioned. I've flipped the pad around to wear down more evenly but the other side never formed that indent, it was just on that one side.

It protects my wrists and does its job. I guess it is fine for the price, but the edges are all coming up around the pad (rubber separating from the cloth).

Wish the edge was curved because I still get a little pain in my wrists at the edge of the pad since the edge ends in a right angle. It's not as cushy as I'd like it to be, either... but is better than the hard desk my keyboard is on. Wish it were gel-filled instead of just barely-squishy neoprene.... but the nice thing is that it really is non-skid. If you don't need something soft this will probably work like a charm for you. It's exactly the same size (width and height) as my Logitech wireless bluetooth keyboard (which I love).
