To go barefooted in my home in the winter is crazy. The floors are just way too cold. I hate bulky slippers and socks get bunchy and fall off too easily...not to mention they are too slippery. These are different. The fit is so good you forget they are on your feet! The nice sole had just enough grip but not the bulk of a non-slip shoe/slipper.
Now the not so cool: the price is a bit much. If they were 1/2 of the cost, I'd have many more pairs! That brings me to the next, hmmmm, ick factor. They hold in heat! My feet get sweaty in them. Taking them off around people after wearing for a while is a definite no-no. :) Deter me from buying? Heck no!
These little suckers are comfortable, durable, and perfect for my needs. I mentioned earlier how they were hard to find. I actually thought they were not being made anymore. I was replacing my last pair. They were 16 years old! They are not worn out...just dingy and no longer bright white. I've been known to fall asleep in them just because of forgetting I even had them on!
