More About the Author

Professor Ronald C. Denney is a well-known author and broadcaster, having written articles for newspapers and magazines as well as scientific journals. He is the author and co-author of more than twenty books on technical subjects, including one on pollution, four on drinking and driving, including 'None For The Road', one on solar energy and has written a children's story, 'King Oak of Sevenoaks'. He is also the author of 'Shadow of the Titanic', the biography of Eva Hart, who was aged just seven when she experienced the trauma of the Titanic disaster including the loss of her father. Professor Denney and Miss Hart were friends for many years and he was given access to Miss Hart's private papers including personal communications concerned with the Titanic disaster and its aftermath.

Professor Denney is married, has two grown-up children and lives in Kent. His main occupation is as an independent Forensic Scientist and Consultant.
