I had been looking for a nice Dicken's book set for sometime, so when I saw that there was a new Dicken's set on the market I went to check it out online. Anyone looking for a book by Charles Dickens is not curious about the story/writing style, etc...since that is well known. So it comes down to the packaging and the collectibility. The books are handsome and sturdy with a book design/cover that is not overwrought with an illustration or what have you...they have that old fashioned look which makes for a great bookshelf addition. On the inside, the illustrations are authentic and classic (like they should be). I am glad I got them...now how about the Pickwick papers!!

Note: those of you looking for a "book review" on Charles Dickens...talk to your local High School English teacher. These books are legends in their own "write".

This edition is a fine jacket on an old friend. They feel good in the hand, appear crisp to the eye, and deliver the words that delivers one to another time and place. Better than TV!
