We purchased this pizzelle iron for our relatives who bake pizzelles at least once a week. Their old pizzelle iron had worn out from overuse, and this made a great gift. They love their new pizzelle iron and the new "cookies" have turned out delicious! Based upon their comments of use, I gave this product 5 stars.

I was not happy with the first batch of Pizzelles I made. They were sticking (even though this was teflon coated) and I had a real mess. I was ready to send it back, but I talked with my niece who has the regular, non-coated iron. She said she puts her batter spoons in a cup half filled with vegetable oil between each reload. I use a small, spring loaded mellon baller to put the batter onto the griddles. I filled a coffee mug halfway with the oil, placed the mellon baller in it between each reload, and nothing stuck. The pizzelles are done in half the time as my other pizzelle iron, are the perfect thickness, and I will not be sending it back.

I bought the Pizzelle Baker for my husband and he loves it. He has made Pizzelle's atleast 5 times since it arrived. They taste amazing. I recommend this product to anyone who knows what a Pizzelle is and wants to make them at home with ease.
