Product Description

This dancing Grandpa and his whacky tools are ready for fun projects in the workshop! Created by the makers of the wildly popular "Grandma's Garden", Grandpa's Workshop includes seven action-packed mini-games loaded with educational content for kids ages 2-6. Plus, your kids will get to choose parts to build their own colorful clubhouse!

SEVEN ACTION-PACKED MINI-GAMES!

1. Spot the Difference. One of those tricky tools is sillier than usual... can you spot the one that is different?

2. Board Fractions. Let's cut the board into halves, thirds, or quarters and count how many pieces we have!

3. Measuring. Zippy the tape measure is stretched out so that you can measure the board! How long is it?

4. Select the Tool. Grandpa needs a screwdriver to finish this project. Can you hand it to him?

5. Number Groups. We'll need 4 springs to finish up this project... which jar has 4 springs?

6. Puzzle Fix-Up. Oh no! Grandma's plate is broken! Let's piece it back together.

7. Paint the Project. Grandpa just built this stool... what color will you paint it?

EDUCATIONAL CONTENT:

- Number groups (quantities, numeral recognition): 1-12
- Colors: orange, purple, brown, red, green, yellow, blue, pink, black, gray
- Measuring: measure items in units 1-12
- Vocabulary: pliers, hammer, c-clamp, tape measure, broom, saw, screwdriver, wrench, level, oil can, dustpan, bucket, paint brush, bolt, nut, spring, tack, nail, screw, washer, ruler, jigsaw, safety glasses, chisel, gloves, trowel, drill, sawdust

4.0 out of 5 stars My daughter is happy January 12, 2013

My daughter started playing this during a long wait at a doctor's office. I thought the puzzles were lacking a bit in variety, but I'm not 4 years old. My daughter couldn't be happier, therefore I'm happy. The "high five" reward was a creative idea and was one of the highlights. All in all, a well done game.

5.0 out of 5 stars Grandpa's Workshop January 4, 2013

This is a really fun learning app for measuring ,counting and finding the difference in objects.. also learning what some tools are. My 17 month old granddaughter loves it even more than Grandma's Flower garden. So great to see another fun learning app from these people. Seems to be more to it and not as repetitive as Grandma's flower so alot more fun for longer.

My 3yr.old grandson LOVES this app. Grandpa needs a helper who can count, paint, and measure. You'll learn differences, puzzles, fractions, and all about the tools Grandpa uses, in his workshop. If you do a good job, Grandpa is big on compliments, and always gives "High 5's!" He even has cool, little videos showing how the real tools are used. And for all of your hard work, Grandpa will build you a clubhouse!! You will have a lot of fun in Grandpa's Workshop!

3.0 out of 5 stars could be more interactive.. June 23, 2014

This is a cute game, my kids enjoy it, however it could be a bit more interactive. When grandpa wants you to paint his finished product, there's different colored paint brushes there, you choose the color, then it is that color. Why not let the kid paint it?When you "cut" the board, there should be with a saw there. And when you build your clubhouse, why not use some of those tools the kids are learning to put it together? Grandpa needs a hammer and nail and let the kid hammer away?! Overall, it's a cute game. But really could be better!

3.0 out of 5 stars Really? April 9, 2013

My grand daughter likes this program but, for the life of me, I don't understand why! It's so repetitive and boring but maybe that's what a three year old wants. I want her to have more educational programs.
