This card did exactly what I wanted. I feel that the price is a reasonable markup over the cost of a blank uSD card for the preloaded operating system and a support site. I know I could have downloaded the same thing from Cyanogen and XDA but there are many flavors that I wasn't prepareed to choose from and the instructions at those sites are written for someone a little more tech savvy than me.
My Nook was dual-booted and running on Android Gingerbread within 15 minutes of retrieving the package from the mail box and now I have a functioniong template if I wish to experiment further without the potential of hours of tinkering before getting it functional for the first time. In the mean time I am enjoying ny Nook even more by exploring the Android operating system and Android Market. This makes the expansion of Nook Color utility available to a wider audience than would be reached by just the developers sites. Thanks N2A!
I wanted to open up the Nook Color as a tablet and this was the easy way to do it. Wasn't confident enough to root the Nook myself and this definitely delivered as promised.
Bought his product to turn a $169 Nook Color into a Android Gingerbread Tablet. Works great. The only downside is some apps (a very few I found) are not formatted for the larger screen and don't install. I would highly recommend this product to get the most feature rich affordable Android Tablet.
