Artsy and sophisticated, the Nooka Unisex ZUB-ZENV-NY-38 Zub ZenV New York Polyurethane Watch adds style to your everyday look. The soft feel of the brilliant white case comes from durable rubber and is paired with scratch-resistant plastic to protect the dial face. The square white face holds Nooka's patented row system for noting the time. Windows for a.m., p.m., day, date, and an alarm sit adjacent to the black vertical hour, minute, and second rows. An angular silver striped pattern set against the brilliant white on the soft polyurethane band brings the case and band together seamlessly. A silver-toned fold-over clasp with double push-button safety will keep this stylish timepiece in place during work or play. Relying on trusted Japanese quartz movement, this timepiece is water resistant to 99 feet (30 meters).

The Nooka Story

Nooka is a New York fashion design company founded by artist/designer Matthew Waldman. The ethos of nooka is universal language, which guides the creation of products with enhanced functionality and futuristic philosophy. Most prominently known for its line of timepieces, Nooka has expanded their range, creating a Mindstyle™ brand with the addition of innovative accessories and a fragrance.  Beyond Time
Nooka Strip (an innovative belt concept), Asset Organzier (a multi-purpose wallet model), and the Nooka scent. All three products embody the brand’s principle of universal communication. Both the Strip and the AO utilize similar materials to the popular ZUB collection of polyurethane watches. These provocative designs, like our watches have U.S. design patents. Additionally, the Nooka scent, self-titled Nooka, is a fully customized fragrance expressing the futuristic and universal values of the brand—fusing natural elements with synthetic accords and a gem-cut, custom bottle.
In Summer 2010, Nooka introduced their first collection of modern eyewear bringing the brand’s sleek and cutting-edge design aesthetic to the world of sunglasses. The collection is presented in two tiers: a luxury line with polished stainless-steel and silver mirror finishes named Venus, and a polymer model in neon colors, known as Mercury.

 2011
Nooka collaborated with industrial designer, Karim Rashid to produce Nooka’s first circular timepiece, the "Yogurt". Combining Karim’s philosophy of "democratic design" with Nooka’s philosophy of "universal language" resulted in a truly unique piece. Additionally, the AO was revamped, making it substantially larger and more durable than its predecessor. It also featured a removable insert providing more versatility of use.
The name Nooka was engineered by Matthew to evoke futurism by incorporating the sound ‘nu’ from both "nuclear" and "new." And stemming from its New York roots, Nooka is also a contraction of "New Yorker" when said with the local accent.
The brand is proud to also include an official mascot: the NookaNooka.. The imaginative character is the whimsical spirit of design futurism.
