POSITIVE: Cuts the SIM perfectly. The trick is to press down quickly with lots of force. If you do it slowly, you might be left with edges that need filing.
I put the cutter on the floor and pressed down with my foot. Worked like a charm.

NEGATIVE: The included converters to convert a micro-sim to SIM are no good. I won't recommend using them, unless you're willing to damage your phone.

Conclusion: Use this only to make a SIM micro-SIM. I would have given it 5 stars if the included sim converters were any good.

I was trimming a newer T-mobile SIM with this SIM cutter and it completely failed. It wouldn't stamp out my SIM and instead the metal got bent before it made a complete cut into the SIM card. It ended up leaving a good enough imprint on the SIM for me to trim it myself with a pair of scissors. Maybe I received a defective one but considering the simplicity of the product, I believe the issue is the quality of metal that was used. The bottom part of the cutter got bent and now it won't cut properly. In all seriousness, how can a plastic SIM be tougher than this metal? 1 star.

I was a little hesitant to chop my SIM card up, but the Noosy works flawlessly. The SIM adapters on the other hand are of questionable quality. They are flimsy and therefore very difficult to insert into most sim card slots. Just trying to get the micro SIM card to fit into one of the adapters is difficult (the plastic is very flimsy). Having said all that, I purchased this along with a better SIM card adapter that I found on Amazon and I am very pleased with the results.

In the end this worked. Follow the diagram on the handle, not of the bottom of the cutter, otherwise you'll destroy the card. You'll cut it wrong. Also, it's easy to pinch some skin in this contraption as you press down. Ouch.

I received this product and it does not appear the same as the product in the image, so I may have gotten a knock off. All it did was mangle my SIM card. I would steer away from this and try cutting it out (very carefully!) with a pair of scissors or a knife. This product just ruined it.

This is sim card cutter is very cheap build, really does not cut card very well, especially at the card edge part. I saw exactly same cutter in china which only cost 3 bucks max!

As other reviewer has stated the metal will bend before you are able to cut the sim card. The issue is where the metal is spot welded. The weld is easily broken and the cutter bends in the middle before cutting your sim card. All it does is leave a outline where the card should've been cut. At least you can follow the outline with a pair of scissors I guess. Totally not worth the money,

It did 95% of the work but I would expect a tool like this to do the job 100% and not leave me having to clean up the edges before I can use the card.

The two adapters that come with the card were of no use putting the SIM back into a Nokia handset. I wound up using the remnant of the original SIM to put the card back into a full size SIM slot.
