4.0 out of 5 stars I love this CD
I listen to this CD over and over again!
Very danceable tracks, good driving music :)
Definitely a lighter side to And One, but hey sometimes you need to chill and smile! I became hooked on And One by hearing them and dancing to And One at DC nightclubs!

3.0 out of 5 stars It's all right
I heard that this band was opening for Covenant in L.A., so I picked up the CD to see what they were all about.

If you like goth-ish synth pop, then this is your CD. It is definitely that.

It's not a bad CD. I could see how, if you were into this music, you would really like it. Unfortunately, I didn't feel that the CD had anything new to offer me that I hadn't...

I like the variety in the moods of each of the songs.
"Movie Star" and "Sweety Sweety" are kind of goofy, but they do perk you up a bit, if you need it!
Perky Synthpop that any one can bob their head to! Darker tracks for Goth Enthusiasts to sway to! I like it!

5.0 out of 5 stars The BEST mixture of Synthpop and Industrial music!, November 22, 1999

This review is from: Nordhausen (Audio CD)
If you like bands such as Depeche Mode, Front 242, or Camouflage....you will LOVE this album! It has the best combination of Dark Synth music with beautiful melodic industrial. The lead singer....Steve Naghavi, has a wonderful DEEP voice which you can't help associating it with David Gahan of Depeche Mode! AND ONE will provide you with songs that make you DANCE, SING, and REMEMBER! Definitely one of the best and most under-rated albums of this decade!

It's not a bad CD. I could see how, if you were into this music, you would really like it. Unfortunately, I didn't feel that the CD had anything new to offer me that I hadn't heard before. Also, it didn't quite have the strength I was looking for. If you like the lighter side of goth (such as New Order and Erasure), well...I think those bands do it better. If you're looking for more music that sound like those bands, then you probably won't be disappointed by this CD.

I will say, the sound is NOT dark, and the music is NOT industrial (whatever you take that to mean). Most of it is actually quite happy and uplifting. The lyrics on the other hand...

1.0 out of 5 stars Fails to Deliver: Too Light, December 30, 2002
By A Customer

I was very disapointed in this album.
I had expected darker and hearty tracks on the level of "Panzer Mensch," "Metalhammer," and "Silver Century."
Instead, I was greeted with some of the most sickeningly-sweet junk I have ever had the displeasure of hearing. "Sweety Sweety" and "Movie Star" were by far the wort offenders.
If you like sappy music, by all means, buy this album.
