This product is excellent for dogs and cats. It has essential oils that are good for their coats, is all natural, and especially aids cats for hairballs and digestive purposes and overall health. I have 2 cats and they receive it daily (just mix in their wet food) along with Prozyme (see my review on Prozyme, excellent product). Their coats are beautiful and they are very healthy. They are small cats, and only require 1/4 tsp each in their meals. I recommended this product to a friend who has cats, and she couldn't get over the difference in their coats and health.

I am giving this to my dog (along with Billberry capsules, vitamin E, and Socium Ascorbate Vitamin C, as well as Ocluvet Prescription Eye Drops) to reduce his cataracts that were just starting; and hopefully to keep them from maturing into full-fledged cataracts. In only a couple of weeks his cataract diminished significantly, and his eyes became clear again and shiny black, beautiful eyes. I am hoping that with this combination he will have a very long time with good vision.

I found on the net that this combination of supplements can stop or even reverse the cataracts. It isn't 'one' thing that works, but the synergy of it all that does the job. And, over-all these supplements benefit his health.

I recently began making my own dog food for my pups. After doing a lot of research I found that fresh fish liver oil should be part of their diet. This product came recommended. It is a great natural product and it has done great things for my dogs' joints and coats. A little goes a long way (8oz lasted a month when giving it daily to my two dogs) and it does not have a fishy smell! I highly recommend this.

This product is great. My dog had been treated with pancreatitus two times. I thought she was going to die. I paid thousands of dollars for her medical bills, changed her diet according to the vet and she didnt get better. I finally set in her medical file to UC Davis to get a personalized diet for her. They recommended she take this in her special diet.. She has been great since she has taken this oil... He coat is also nice and shiny. SHe is happy and healthy!!!

This is an excellent product, and I bought it through your company for less than half of what I had to pay my veterinarian for it. She was the one who recommended it, and I'll keep ordering it...but through your company; not through her. Your service is excellent. I received it within a few days. Thank you.

My holistic/wellness vet recommended that my older can Martin start taking Nordic Naturals Pet Cod Liver Oil daily for his arthritis. To get Martin to accept the oil (that I put on his kibble, and gradually, over a few weeks time), I just add some wet canned food, and he eats everything. Improvement in my cat's arthritis/mobility was noticeable to me right away -- like, within 2 days! Whereas before he was kind of gimpy, he is only occasionally gimpy now. Whereas before he could NOT run up the stairs, now he is. It's quite something. Maybe change in weather conditions also played a factor in my cat's improvement?? I don't know. Am surprised that the oil worked so rapidly.... I'm grateful that he can be more active and that he's much more comfortable!! I'll stay with the pet cod liver oil, and with this particular company. I know it's kind of pricey, but to me it's so worth it, and it lasts a long time too.

I have used this product on my dog for two years. I was buying it local, but found it much cheaper through Amazon. I was very surprised when it arrived in such a short time. Thank you for supplying this product.

I got this because I wanted to supplement my cat's diet with Vitamin A and Vitamin D. My cat hates the taste, but I can't blame that on the company. She's very finicky. To get around her dislike, I give an 1/8 of a teaspoon twice a day by sneaking it into pill pockets with an eye dropper. So far, the cat still loves me, and she hasn't had any side effects like vomiting or diarrhea.

My only complaint is that the label on the bottle lists Vitamin A, but not Vitamin D. However, Amazon lists Vitamin D as an ingredient. I double-checked with the company and they told me that the amounts of A and D vary based on when the fish were caught.

This is a high quality cod liver oil for pets, good for when your high quality pet food diet just isn't enough and your pet still has a dry, flakey or dull coat - try some of this oil for a period of time and you will soon see the change in the luster of the animal's coat, i sure know i did!

When I read the label on this it is 99 percent crude fat. There are much cheaper ways to give your dog fat.
