Nordic Track Professional Series 4000 Treadmill

Bought a treadmill and it worked fine for a few months. Eventually, the incline got stuck on the highest level. Four service calls later and two no-show service calls, they still can't fix it and are stonewalling me from getting a replacement. Wouldn't trust anything made by Icon Fitness after this -- they make Rebook as well as a few others.

As quoted from Jan at ICON's support center, "I'm sorry even though it is not my fault!"

The pulley assembly separated from the drum that drives the treadmill's walking belt after only 4 months, making the treadmill use usable because the belt stops as you step on it creating a major safety hazard.

After months of waiting ICON still has not fix the treadmill. Their customer service is horrible. It is a black hole where your phone calls go and are never returned. The cocky phone staff is only concerned about getting you off the line and not resolving your concern. Forget about talking to a manager, they say they will call you back but never do and they will hang up on you before they'll foreword you call to a manager. They have a warranty of a year on parts and labor. Clearly, there intentions are stall until your warranty expirers.

Don't believe just me Google "ICON fitness service"

Stay away from all ICON Fitness products.

My mother bought a C2255 treadmill with an extended warranty. Service has been non-existent. We call. They say the service people will call. They never do or they call when no one is home and the cycle must start over.

I will never buy a Nordic Track item simply because their TV commercials are so offensive. They kick up the volume thinking you are either old and deaf, or thinking they can force your purchase by yelling at you. I see it as an invasion of my privacy. I'd have given this company a Zero if I could have.
