When I started using Baker's Joy, I found it worked well with Pound Cake and Yellow Cakes, not so much with White or Angelfood cakes. I use professional aluminum baking pans with all my cakes, not the retail non-stick variety. Baker's Joy, being aerosol, will tend to leave bubbles even when it works well. Using shortening and flour on pans will always leave a smooth cake.
If you are baking cakes with a lighter consistency, use shortening and flour on your pans, and they won't stick to your baking pans. For hardier baked goods like muffins, Pound Cakes, and Yellow Cakes, Baker's Joy will do in a pinch.

I liked the Pillsbury spray with flour, but I ran out and bought this instead because I didn't want to go to two stores for my shopping trip. My cakes don't stick (I use a classic, heavy Nordicware Bundt pan) but the spray comes out in clumps, heavy in some places, light in others. The nozzle gets this huge, fluffy hunk of oily flour gunk on it as you spray the pan, and it has to be cleaned off a few times in the course of spraying one Bundt pan.
Bakers Joy does what it's supposed to, but it's so messy, I'm going back to the Pillsbury product, (or I might try the Pam with flour if I can find it...)

I love this product, especially when I bake bundt cakes. If you've ever experienced a bundt cake that's stuck in the pan...well, that's no longer a problem. I stock up on this, so I never run out.

Can't find this in the store anymore!
