This pan is a high-quality, convenient addition to my kitchen, which is precisely why I bought it. The interchangable bottoms are easy to use and easy to clean. It's made of a strong, durable, substantial matierial--not a flimsy, easy-to-dent piece! As an apartment dweller with a small kitchen, this pan is ideal: it is easy to store and has multiple purposes. However, it has one small (potential) drawback: when used as a bundt pan, it's a little small--your standard bundt cake recipe will slightly overfill the pan.

Yes, this pan WOULD be a good value if you could use both parts of the pan, BUT! This pan leaks. It's perfectly fine for the springform pan part (for cheesecakes), but don't even try to use it for a bundt pan. The pan leaks horribly, and doesn't brown correctly. Imagine this....a perfectly baked pound cake in the oven, and when you're ready to pop out the cake, you turn it over just to find a pale unattractive cake. This occurs even when baked on the lowest rack in the oven. I tried it multiple times with multiple recipes (and yes, I'm a very experienced baker), and on almost all occasions, it leaked and came out incredibly pale (And pale means it doesn't have that yummy caramelization!). Yes, you could probably use this pan for Angel Food cakes (because you don't really want it brown anyways), but you probably wouldn't want to because angel food cakes need a NON-nonstick surface in order to rise extremely high. Also, the material is very flimsy - it has the same feel of the 3-springforms-for-$9.99-from-WalMart pans. Save yourself the money and buy a good springform and a good bundt.

I don't bake much, and I have only used this pan a few times to make a banana cake. It has worked really great for me. It has not rusted or warped. The clasp (?) that is used to open and close the pan is easy to use and has never given me trouble. I just wait for my cake to cool down, open the clasp, and ease my cake out of the mold.
The other great thing about this pan is that it is lightweight and the price can't be beat.

I've been using this multipurpose pan now for about three years. It was quite difficult to replace the one I used to have since I could not find one at the stores anywhere around me. Thank Heavens' Amazon carries this. They saved my baking life! I love making cheese cakes and rich, heavy Bundt cakes and this pan is perfect. I love the fact that it takes up less space since one piece fits into the other. It is in as good condition today as the day it was delivered to me.

Both inserts are just perfect. They fit nice and tight and I have yet to have an issue with leakage even after all these years and hundreds of uses and washes. It is made with a very durable non-stick surface and it *really* doesn't stick. Even if you inadvertently burn something.

Only used this one time so far. It isn't anything I'll be usuing daily, but when I want a springform pan like this, I now have it! It didn't leak at all. I think others who complained didn't have the bottom in straight. It was great and released perfectly.

I bought this a while ago. I still have it...it's a key baking dish to own. I know I have used it various times and still in great shape. The interior is really smooth and if you greese it properly things do not stick to it. I like it and it was such a good price.

I was surprised when I received this set. The set was damaged, and the outer frame was severely bent out of shape. The quality was not up to the high standards of my other Nordic Ware pans. I'm really not surprised that it couldn't hold up during shipping, one of my issues with Amazon. A few cents more on packaging would result in a lot fewer returns.

I got this baking pan as a replacement for ones I sold prior to a move. The old pans were OLD and I figured that the way things go, the new pan would be a lighter-weight, flimsy version. That wasn't the case. It is made of heavy enough gauge metal that it is stiff and sturdy. The no-stick coating looks like it will hold up with proper care. I've used it several times already and it's grreat.

My wife went through many pans... and this one works great for cheesecake... and the free bunt insert is neat as well...

Get both a springform pan great for making cheesecakes and also a more than serviceable bundt pan for angel food and pound cakes in the same package with Nordic Ware's great baking pan. Simply switch out the bottoms--one the standard springform flat bottom and the other a springform insert--to convert from one use to the other. The pan is also non-stick (although normal oiling or flouring is recommended) and easy to clean-up and maintain. For the price of a decent springform OR bundt pan, getting both in the same package is an exceptional value!
