When I added this item to my Wish List, I thought I knew what to expect: cheap aluminum barely thicker than aluminum foil. Was I surprised! This cake pan is durable, cooks evenly, and the lid is nicely domed so you have plenty of room to decorate the cake and then cover it. I go to covered dish suppers quite frequently, but I've always had to take a 13X9X2 glass dish covered with plastic wrap -- ruins the frosting every time. This pan is perfect to bake a cake in or to store cupcakes in. I'm very pleased with this product and I highly recommend it.

I like this pan with the lid. It bakes cakes evenly, does not warp and cleans easily. I have baked cakes, brownies, and fried chicken in the oven with this pan and all have come out successfully. I don't put the plastic lid in the dishwasher, but wash it by hand. It transports easily especially with the medium heavy duty plastic lid.

I absolutely love this Nordic Ware cake pan with storage lid. It is a very sturdy, well made item that is definitely worth the price. I had one for several years and melted the lid so I found it on Amazon and I purchased two because I liked it so well.

Great heavy pan. Lid fits good. The only improvement would be some handles as I am always afraid it will slip out of my hand when taking it out of the oven. Domed lid is nice for cakes that have some height. Nice even baking. Don't forget tomato products will mar/pit it if stored in it.

I just got this pan and I love that it is a nice heavy duty one with a easy on/off Cover for storage! It is just a tad smaller than a true measurement of 9X13 pan but that is what I like about it, because if anyone has noticed they have cut down the weight or amount of the cake mixes so when you go to bake a cake the cake doesn't fill up the old pans like they use to years ago! I can finally throw my old pan away and be happy I did! Yep measure your old pan and then measure the new ones they all are 9X13 just not quite the same... Maybe I have to throw my old Tape measure away too??? Maybe they changed the box cake mixes so they don't raise like they did years ago who knows. I just know you have to use 2 to fill the old cake pans! Well I just thought everyone would like to know this new pan is very nice to have.

I recently bought this cake pan for my mom and she raved about it. It's heavy aluminum steel, not light and flimsy like cheap aluminum pans. The lid is sturdy, snaps easily onto the pan, and the clear plastic is handy to have so you can see what's left. My parents got Nordic Ware products years ago for wedding gifts and said the pans lasted a very long time so I'm glad I made a good purchase. I recommend it - great value!

This pan is much nice than I expected. Nice and heavy, not tinnie, and the lid was a real surprise. I expected a hard thin plastic and this one is a nice tupperware-type fit.

I ordered this pan after seeing the very same item at a MUCH more expensive kitchenware store. I am so pleased with it--it is quite sturdy and evenly cooks anything I've baked in it. I had been looking for a non-stick pan with accompanying storage lid for awhile, so this absolutely fit the bill. I have already ordered a second pan and the smaller 9" x 9" pan like it from Amazon. Thanks for carrying a great product line!

Although this pan is a very nice, sturdy, heavy weight, it's NOT really a 9x13. The base of the pan, measured on the outside, is 8x11.5 inches. The top outer rim of the pan is 9x13. So if you're looking for a true 9x13, this isn't it! I haven't baked with it yet, so can't attest to how evenly it bakes.

I love this pan -- functional, cleans up really easily, and I haven't had a single thing stick yet, even without added oil! A friend left this at our house after house sitting for several months. I wasn't impressed by its appearance; it was ugly, and not a non-stick (used to be all I used). Still, one day I was in need of another 9 x 13 to use, so I tried it out. And I immediately abandoned any thought of donating it! This thing works great! Bakes evenly, clean-up is a breeze as you can stick it in the dishwasher, unlike my non-stick stuff. And the lid is wonderful for storage. I actually ended up donating my non-stick pans and getting more of these!
