This pan makes an adorable and impressive cake. Here is my favorite bundt recipe, usable in any bundt pan but especially good here because it is green. 1 package white cake mix, 1 package pistachio pudding mix, 4 eggs, 1/2 c oil, 1 c. water, 2 T. creme de menthe (in the ice cream topping aisle). Mix and pour 3/4 of it into the tree pan. To the remainder of the batter add 1/2 c chocolate syrup. Pour that into the pan but don't stir it in. Bake 50 min to 1 hour at 350. SPRAY THE TREE TOPS WELL before you pour in the batter. I have used the pan for years and guests always ooh and aah when they see it. Some people eat a whole tree!

One day before the holidays I walked into a grocery store and there was a display just inside the entry including cakes for sale that looked like snowy trees. They were captivating but they were $12.99 each! For sponge cake with powdered sugar!
Figuring that I could do it better myself for less, I later searched Amazon and, sure enough, there was the pan, and it's made in America! Win!
I ordered it and it arrived in a couple of days. It really is a lovely, sturdy pan that should last for generations.
My rum cake cooked evenly and, using Baker's Joy, came out of the pan fully intact with all the details showing.
It was charming and it made quite the impression at my family Christmas party. I think a new holiday tradition has been born.

It is Made in The USA, that was all I needed to know to Get "Nordic Ware Holiday Bundt Tree Pan" I wanted to do a Test Run and see the Quality of the Bundt Pan and the Tree Cake. I made my own Cake Batter instead of the "Mint Mountain Bundt Cake" Recipe that comes on the Back of the Cardboard Wrap, with Vegetable Shortening, White Chocolate Pudding Mix, Chocolate Fudge Instant Pudding Mix, Chocolate Chips, Peppermint Extract, Sour Cream...and many more Ingredients, it looks too Complicated. I took my time with a little brush and very Soft Butter to get inside of each and every little area, so the Cake will release without any Problems later on, and then I flour the whole thing, I Tap out any extra flour into the Sink.

This is a 10 Cup Bundt Pan, to get a Better Idea, it Measures 9.2-inches in Diameter by about 4-1/2 inches Deep. I filled it a little over 3/4 Full to avoid overflow. After the Cake was Baked, I let it Cool completely on Top of a Wire Rack. The Cake Tree looked Terrific, all the detail from the Holiday Tree Pan was Perfectly Transferred onto the Cake just exactly as the Picture Shows. According to the Use and Care Instructions, Dishwasher use is not Recommended as it may shorten the life of the Non-Stick Coating of your Pan.

I wash it by hand because I want the Pan to look its Best for a Long Time. Also Metal Utensils, Scouring Pads and Abrasive Cleaners should not be use on Non-Stick Surfaces. I was surprised to see that the Tree Bundt Pan Stands Perfectly Fine when is Flipped outside down to Hold the Batter, I was wondering about that. This is a Great Baking Pan, I really like how Nicely the Trees looked all covered with Powder Sugar on Top of a Big Sheet Cake, many Decorating Possibilities next time. I will be using the Holiday Tree Baking Pan a lot for the Holidays! ...Thank You D.D.

Brillant pan. Worked like a dream from the first time I used it.

Didn't have any problems turning out the cake after 15 mins of it cooling after taking it out of the oven.

It's now part of our christmas tradition and my son loves it.

Just make sure you grease the pan very, very thoroughly. I used unsalted butter for mine and all the detail came out beautifully.

Everyone was impressed with the cake. It looks really nice sprinkled with powdered sugar(snow). I was impressed with the quality of the pan itself. A nice weight not thin aluminum

I'd seen a cake in a grocery store and wanted to make it myself at Christmas time. This one was just fine...I think my memory had a little more detail in the store. In the store they weren't decorated Christmas trees but "forest-type" trees. But this is my fault for not being more careful - otherwise I'd give it 5 stars. It will work beautifully. Especially since I found out about the Bakers way of treating pans. 1/2 cup oil, 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup shortening - whip it up and it doesn't even have to be refrigerated. I was sceptical but tried it...WOW...very easy to apply, the cake came RIGHT out and there was minimum coating to wash out on the pan. Really makes these type pans an early choice for festivities.

Love this pan - have used it twice recently. Once with chocolate cake, once with pound cake. If you sprinkle powdered sugar over the whole thing after it cools, then run a bundt glaze down in between the trees, it really looks like little mountain ranges instead of trees. On the light cake I added blue edible glitter just after running the glaze down - my husband said it looked like ski runs! Makes the pan more than a one-season pan. Everyone comments on how pretty the cake is. Highly recommended.

Approaching this cake pan with great trepidation, I decided to make the cake for Christmas dinner, with no trial runs. I checked many recipes for these Nordic Ware pans, and decided on what seems to be an "old stand-by", the Chocolate Gingerbread one. One of the best and most important hints was to use "Baker's Secret" baking spray that also contained flour - I used a lot and made sure each crevice was covered. Worked like a charm, following the recipe's directions to the letter, and baked for 55 minutes. I do recommend shaking the cake in the pan, as suggested, before overturning it onto a plate. And...let it cool for a few hours, cover carefully with plastic wrap, and refrigerate overnight. An artistic dusting of sifted, powdered sugar, and you have a little forest with a light, pretty dusting of "snow". And..the taste and texture of the cake couldn't have been better. I will use this a lot, now that I know it's an easy and successful way to make a beautiful cake!
