This pan was my initial Nordicware pan purchase, and was the reason that I bought 4 others (1 other mini, 1 tart pan and 2 shaped full-sized bundts). I love the construction on all my Nordicware pans, this mini-bundt pan included. The details on the pan and the resulting cakes gives great presentation value - cakes brown evenly and the bottoms have a smooth, glassy look to them. You do have to bake at a lower temperature though (325 degrees) or your cakes will darken too much. I've used generous sprays of Baker Joy to grease this pan and have never had a problem with cakes sticking. Lastly, clean up is relatively easy and I've found that plastic scrub pads (the flat, square type) work best and don't ruin the non-stick finish. With the details in the pan though, you'll have to make sure that all the crevices are clear of crumbs when cleaning them.

Classic Bundt Cake Designs in Miniature,

Okay, I admit it, I own many different styles of these pans -- I am attracted to the various designs and high quality. This one is particularly lovely because it includes three of Nordic Ware's classic bundt designs - Bavarian, Fleur de Lis and Cathedral. In reading the reviews some people lower the oven temperature, some people bake the cake longer -- what you will need to do will depend on your particular oven. Oven temperatures vary, so an oven thermometer might be a good idea. And, pan preparation is so important. Spray Baker's Joy (plain cooking spray won't do) liberally in the pan to capture all details, then turn the pan upside down over paper towels to drain while you prepare the cake. Also, the thicker the cake batter the more detail you will achieve - so if using a cake mix alter it (many recipes are available on the internet in search engines - bundt recipe using cake mix, etc.) The mini cakes look great and the detailing is lovely. And, be sure to let the cakes cool upright in the pan for 10 minutes before unmolding them.

This bundt pan is nice and heavy and allows you to dress up even the most simple recipe. It is non-stick but I always spray with a cooking oil before I bake in it. I like the 3 different patterns this pan provides. The recipes I have baked in this pan require a little more cooking time because of its dark color and weight. A very nice addition to your culinary tools!

I really enjoy the miniature bundt cakes this pan makes. They are great for parties. The pan itself is very durable, and the non-stick coating is great for the baking and cleaning.

Nordic Ware's Platinum Collection really deserves the platinum rating. These are heavy-duty cast aluminum pans.This pan in particular turns out lovely mini bundt cakes. I use them for quick breads like chocolate banana and zucchini raisin bread. This pan has three different styles of bundts in miniature: Cathedral, Fleur de Lis and Bavaria. Each cavity has a 1 cup capacity. I have had good results by filling with 1/2 C of batter. As it bakes, the batter will rise and fill the remaining space in the cavity. If you overfill, the bottoms will rise up and be rounded so they won't sit level(though you can also use a cake leveler to trim the bottoms flat to the pan before turning the cakes out- they sell these but I use a very fine gauge stainless steel wire which has each end wrapped around a 3-inch wooden dowel). For quick breads, I use Cook's Illustrated's recipes- the yogurt in them makes the cakes very moist. I get about 8-9 of these mini bundts out of a recipe that would normally make one regular loaf. I usually double or triple the recipe if I am making these for an event. If they are just for home consumption, often I will do one pans worth of individual bundts and then a pan of mini muffins or a few jumbo muffins. In terms of baking time, I start checking for doneness at about half the time called for in the recipe. In my oven, they usually take about 20-25 minutes to bake up. These heavy duty pans will leave a nice finish on whatever you bake in them. I like that the outside gets a tiny bit crispy without being hard and dry- I feel like it seals in the air and moisture which is why everyone I make these for loves them. I have also used pound cake, shortcake, and cupcake recipes in these. You have to watch the time because these do bake differently than just cupcakes or a whole loaf. As far as getting the bundts out of the pan- never a problem for me and all I do is put the pan in my sink and thoroughly spray the cavities with Pam or a similar cooking spray. I do not grease and flour- just use the spray and have NEVER had any stick. Do make sure you wash thoroughly in between uses. I soak my pans for a bit and then use a soft brush to get into the nooks and crannies- they wash up very easily that way. A final note- shortcake is fabulous in these pans and then when they are done, fill the center of the bundt with fruit, drizzle sauce over the top and garnish with whipped cream- absolutely fabulous strawberry shortcake! I get tons of compliments on these and the kids love them because they are so elegant and also BIG!

I bought this pan to make smaller versions of my Caribean rum cakes to sell at bake sales. This pan makes just the right size cakes for a "single size" serving. I also like the fact that you get three different cake patterns using this one pan. Had to watch the bake time the first batch I made but after that it was no problem. The pan is very heavy duty, the non stick surface works great and it washes up easy.Just the pan I was looking for!

This pan works very well. I made brownies in it for Christmas and just sprinkled powdered sugar on them for a very easy, great-looking holiday treat. NordicWare is always good quality. I especially like a pan I bought from another retailer that is like this one but 12 mini bundts. I just used that one for cornbread muffins and they came out perfect with no washing of the pan required afterward. Stay away from cheap pans and buy NordicWare when you can. That's what I say.

This mini Bundt Cake Pan features six one-cup cakes in three different designs based on classic Bundt pans. Although much smaller than their full-size counterparts, there is still an astonishing amount of detail, making these perfect for elegant individual desserts. For optimum "wow" factor, try dusting chocolate cakes with a light dusting of confectioner's sugar to bring out the details.The included instructions say to use unsalted vegetable shortening or spray, but I used my ubiquitous Baker's Joy and had no problems unmolding the cakes from the pan (try shaking the pan gently side-to-side and front-to-back before unmolding for easier removal). Also, if you fill the molds the typical 2/3 full, you will probably have a couple of cups or so of batter left over from a recipe scaled for a 10-cup Bundt pan. The pan is a dream to clean and washes easily with hot soapy water (I refrained from using a nylon scrubber on the non-stick coating). Perfect for special occasions, elegant romantic dinners, and individual easy-to-serve portions for office parties, this mini Bundt Pan from Nordic Ware is another solid performer from a company with a long tradition of excellent product performance and durability.

I love all of my Nordicware Pans and this pan is no exception. This pan creates stunning little cakes for gift giving or your own little treats. Heavy Durable Pan with great release. I use the non stick spray with flour and they fall right out every time.
