The recipe makes 2 of the 6 cup bundt cakes which are perfect for gifts.

I absolutely loved this pan when I first got it. My husband and I can't eat a whole bundt cake so this was the perfect size for us. I make 2 of them and give the other to a neighbor or a friend for their birthday.
I have used it about 6 times, always hand washing after use. Tonight whe I went to wash it, the non stick surface is peeeling off! I have to say I am very disappointed because now I will have to go and buy the expensive ones with no non stick coating that will peel off.
I would not recommend this product unless you only want to use it a few times!

This is a perfect size for 2 but you can easily serve up to 8. Every time I used it, I jiggle it loose and flip it on a plate and there it is. Perfect. No pieces stuck to the pan. I still coat it with shortening and flour it before I add the batter to it. This is a high quality pan that is sure to last many many years that you may end up passing it along to another member of the family.

Nothing heavyweight about this pan at all; it's as thin as anything I've ever seen (can be dented with moderate finger pressure). Also not very non-stick. Couldn't really recommend this pan to anyone.

I was a little disapointed when this pan arrived. The handle was bent in shipping, its that thin. But I was in a hurry and used it anyway. The cakes I've baked have turned out fine, nicely browned, evenly cooked through. BUT, if I had purchased this in a store I would have gotten a heavier one. This won't last many years. Oh well.

I tested the capacity of this pan by pouring 6 cups of water into it before I completed my recipe, and the pan really is just shy of 6 cups, it holds more like 5-1/2 cups and that is right to the rim, a level to which no pan can be filled with actual batter. I was worried because I was baking a pound cake recipe that makes a lot of thick batter and requires a true 12 cup pan when making the full recipe. But I want to make smaller cakes since we don't have a big family and a standard cake recipe just sits on the counter for days or on our waistlines for weeks, so I decided to chance it. I halved the recipe and I held my breath waiting for an overflow and smoke alarm event. However, the center tube has a little shelf on it that kept this from happening. The cake is beautifully browned. The recipe rises high and so the actual cake kind of looks like a little globe since when inverted it is sitting on the part that rose a little above the rim of the pan and this comes out somewhat rounded. But it's just for us and it's the right size. Perhaps a different recipe will yield different results, we shall see. I always grease and flour my pans no matter what their marketing claim might be. The interior of this pan is also very smooth. The cake popped right out. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I think if it's marketed as a 6 cup pan, it should hold 6 cups. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I love this pan! It is a perfect size for half a pound cake recipe, which is such a nice gift for all kinds of occasions. I have two, so I make one to keep for my family of five (gives us each about two slices) and one to give as a gift.

The pan is very well constructed, sturdy, and cakes come out every time. (I never put a cake pan in the dishwasher even though it says DW safe, and I use plenty of spray).

The Nordic Ware Pro Form pan should be renamed Burnt Pan, not Bundt Pan. The Pro Form is Nordic Ware's lowest quality pan. It is their lightest weight, thin aluminum pan. I have always used their heavy weight pans and so I did not realize that this was more or less "five and dime" bakeware. Followed the directions exactly, correct temperature, greased and floured, etc., etc., Approximately 15 minutes after the cake was in the oven, I smelled burning so I ran downstairs, checked the stove, the thermometer, etc. and everything was fine. HOWEVER, I removed the pan from the oven and the entire outside of the cake (top and bottom) were burned to a crisp. Thankfully, the cake came out of the pan easily and I threw it away and made another cake using their platinum series and everything was fine. You get what you pay for and this pan, although budget priced, was totally inferior.

Love this pan!!
This is the perfect bundt pan that makes exactly 2 medium size cakes instead of 1 large bundt cake. It is a very good size (not too small) and is great for the holidays for gift giving. I wish I had ordered 2 of them because you can make 2 cakes from 1 cake mix recipe. I will order another. Although the pan is lightweight unlike some other pans, it works well so far (I've used it a few times) and the cake comes out very easliy and cleans well.
Nice purchase!! : )
