this is a very nice shortbread pan with a cute snowflake design. easy care & clean up. adds a nice decorative touch to your baking.

I now have two of these pans and the snowflake is especially nice. The super fine detail of the designs can be lost in the baked goods and I think the snowflake is most recognizable. I do not like the recipe that comes with the pan...it's sticky and difficult to work with...as in very annoying. I'm going to tinker with it (more flour?) or find a better recipe. It does taste good! These pans require minimal seasoning and clean up well. They release the shortbread nicely so I've had no failures there. I found that after 10 minutes of cooling, inverting the pans on a cutting board and cutting with a pizza cutter gave me nice, neat little squares. If you don't have a lot of time to fuss over cookies but want something a bit fancy for holidays, teas, or parties...this is your pan!

I don't know if it's the pan or the recipe, but everytime I've made shortbread in this pan I get rave reviews. The shortbread pops out easy, and cleanup is easy too. I really like this pan.

A very sturdy pan. Been using it in our small bakery and the shortbread comes out beautifully, time after time. Heavy and well made.

Ok... I REALLY wanted to love this pan. The design is wonderful, and the pan is solid. Washes up great. Just one thing... the snowflakes can barely be seen on the final product. I've now made over 5 different shortbread recipes and the results are all the same... VERY FAINT pattern when you remove your shortbread. I've tried pushing down the shortbread really hard (so it would have a really good chance of an in-print) -- nothing. I've tried to just lightly tamp the shortbread in -- nothing. I was sad. Now, the shortbread releases easy... it cooks even... everything about this pan is great, EXCEPT for the depth of relief in the pattern. I went back to my good old-fashioned standby 8x8 Pyrex glass pan, and finished the rest of my baking.

This is an excellent pan. It is heavy and solid and very easy to clean. The shortbread removes from the pan very easily. For some reason, shortbread turns out better than usual when made in these heavy pans. I just made some Lemon Poppyseed Shortbread and it is really delicious.

I'm wishing I had two of these. I didn't follow the recipe on the box; I have my own recipe for shortbread. But I pressed it into the pan and baked it for just a couple minutes less than my recipe called for, and they came out perfect. I just flipped the pan over, and there they were. The designs came out perfect, too. (You should always use cold butter in your recipe, that helps. Barring that, maybe chill the dough for a little bit, first.) I've used a lot of cookie presses over the years, but this is far more reliable for getting a good design on the cookie. I'd definitely recommend it.

Love this pan, it baked evenly, the snowflake imprints came out better than I thought they would. I would recomend to anyone.

A lovely pan, priced less than in specialty baking catalogs. The snowflakes are imprinted on shortbread clearly, and can work for both Christmas and post-Christmas winter baking. Great if you like impressive-looking treats but don't have the patience to work a pastry bag full of icing.

I turned the pan over to release the shortbread, but the shortbread literally flew out of the pan! I used a spray release product and then dusted it with Wondra before patting the dough into the pan. The snowflake designs were clearly visible, and all that was needed for decoration was a dusting of powder sugar. The recipe requires only four or five ingredients, so with minimal effort you can create a stunning treat. The pan can also be used for winter cornbread or brownies. This is a nice addition to your bake ware, especially if you live in snow country.
