This epilating hair removal system begins at the roots: a series of rotating disks removes hair from below the skin surface for longer lasting smoothness. Because the root of the hair has been removed, regrowth is smoother and less noticeable than the inevitable stubble that follows a razor shave. The Sens-Relief System offers two settings: high intensity for broad surfaces like thighs; and normal intensity for more angular body parts like ankles. The gently vibrating Sens-Relief System also lightly massages your skin for maximum comfort. Two speed settings allow you to further adjust for different parts of the leg. The Satinelle is a little different from Epilady in that it uses a set of tweezers rather than a coil, so this was a new experience for me.

Pain factor? Zero on my legs since I've been using Epilady for years. My bikini line needed the help of the Sens-Relief System to make the process more comfortable. I expect that once I get to using it regularly on my bikini line, it will eventually stop hurting, too. After a while, your hair "knows" that soon it will be pulled out, so it doesn't bother to grow too coarse. My leg hair learned that pretty fast.

Regrowth is slow - two or three weeks before I reach for Satinelle again. But even if you're one of those people who will need it every week, it's better that shaving every day.

Definitely recommend.

If you are tired of shaving daily or every otehr day and are looking for something more long lasting, Norelco will be perfect for you. THe compact epilator is convenient and fast (and looks good). The results last for 2-3 weeks, which for me is a huge advantage over shaving. While it is a little painful at first, you quickly can get used to it and get even sensitive areas like underarms and bikini lines effectively cleaned up.

I have to say this is the best product of its kind. I know, since I've had quite a few negative experiences with its competitors: a lot of nicks and pinches...
I'm using it for the underarm hair as well, and it hurt quite a bit when I first started. But now it's the best time-saving device for my grooming routine. My husband is amazed how little time I now spend in the bathroom!
