book about trains
I didn't read a word of this book- I just wrapped it in Christmas gift wrap & gave it to my young friend on Christmas Day. He RAVED about it- you would have thought I gave him a pound of gold. He's so into trains. Anyway, it made his Christmas very merry.

Fanatics only
I think this book will only appeal to the hardcore fan of the N&W and steam engine trains. The pictures are nice, but the technical "talk" of the book gets to be too much. People with a casual appreciation, like me, of steam engines may want to look elsewhere.
